Ash Williams Coming To ‘Dead By Daylight’

It was announced at PAX East that Bruce Campbell will be bringing his popular character Ash Williams from the “Evil Dead” film and TV series to the popular cat-and-mouse horror game Dead by Daylight. Campbell teased that Ash was going to make it to video games in a past interview. Dead by Daylight is an online multiplayer where a group of four players takes on the roles as the “Survivors” while one player takes on the role of a “Killer” that is sometimes a creature. The survivors must escape a realm (level) that is used specifically by one type of killer. Since its release in 2016 the original three killers has grown to 15 and includes Freddy Kruger (“Nightmare on Elm Street”), Michael Myers (“Halloween”), Amanda Young (“Saw”), and Leather Face (“Texas Chainsaw Massacre”), each killer has their own perk and powers. ‘Terminator’ Meets ‘Red Dawn’: Game Review Of ‘Generation Zero’

Avalanche Studios and THQ Nordic were kind enough to allow me a chance to play their post-apocalyptic robotic nightmare set in 1980s Sweden, Generation Zero. Crank up your favorite 80s jam, fix your mullet, and acid wash those jeans along with that denim jacket! First, I should say I’m probably not playing the game the way it was meant to be played…solo. You can play online with up to three other players but it’s a breath of fresh air that you have that option. Before you get started you have to create your character with their “starting off” look as you will find clothing and accessories throughout the game (some of which have abilities like fire resistance), your options for starting outfit are rebel, punk, greaser, hip-hop, nerd, popular, and military. Previously, I’ve talked about a new first-person horror game titled Moons of Madness, a space exploration game with a Lovecraft twist. A lot has changed since I last shared about the game, mainly the release date changed, but for the better. Poisonous Toad Population Explodes In South Florida

Residents in South Florida are witnessing what looks like a scene from a B-movie, thousands of little toads hopping around all over the place. Large swarms of toads are darting across roads, clogging pool filters, invading gardens, and hanging out in yards in droves. May sound silly to worry about but the residents have a right to, these are not common toads, these are Cane Toads. These Invasive (not native) amphibians are named after the sugar cane fields they should be hanging out in down in South America. What makes them different than other toads in North America is their size, and that they’re highly toxic. Avalanche Studios and THQ Nordic will be taking us to Sweden in the 1980s in Generation Zero, a first-person shooter that pits you against killer robots. Squad up with three friends or go on by yourself, the game features an open world with a daylight cycle and unpredictable weather. On the fly you will have to pick your battles and how to or not to fight them. The sandbox combat mechanic allows you to fight how you want to as you explore the world and discover the truth behind this mysterious rise of machines. Instagram Believes Horror Is Bad

Instagram, an affiliate site connected to Facebook is famous for attention seeking wannabe models, armature foodies, showcasing artists, celebrities sharing behind the scenes of their personal lives, and constantly being down. You can search for the type of images you want to see by their hashtags (#) but one hashtag is flagged… Horror. That’s right, #Horror is flagged on Instagram. If you search for horror, a page will pop up and asking if “They” (Instagram) can help as horror, they claim, often encourages harmful behavior, don’t believe me? Well, calling on their bluff I looked up known dangerous behavior. #drinkinggames is safe even though these can attribute to alcohol poisoning, same with #beerpong, #drinking, and #drunk. Psychological-Horror Game ‘Someday You’ll Return’ Coming Fall 2019

What could be described as a lovechild between Outlast 2, Firewatch, Resident Evil 7, and Vanishing of Ethan Carter; comes a whole new psychological-horror adventure game, Someday You’ll Return. The game comes from the 2-man indie developer team out of Brno, CBE Software. This first-person experience follows Daniel as he searches the Moravian forests for his runaway daughter Stela. It’s a mystery as to why Stela chose these woods that Daniel swore he would never return to, which adds to the mystery of WHY does he not want to go back there. Daniel will encounter locals and supernatural forces that will help fill in the blanks of his past and answer why Stela is always running away from home. World’s End Killer Dies In Prison

Scotland’s most notorious serial killer and rapist, Angus Sinclair has died in prison. The 73-year old’s cause of death has not been released but over the last couple of years, his health has been declining as he had multiple strokes while he’s been incarcerated. Sinclair was called the “World’s End Killer” as it was later discovered that he was the killer in the “World’s End Murders” case in 1977 where Catherine Eadie and Helen Scott, both 17, were raped and murdered after being at the World’s End pub in Edinburgh. The case was cold but years later DNA evidence along with tips and good ol’ fashion police work determined that Sinclair was the suspect. Sinclair’s DNA matched the samples from the 1977 crime scene but in 2007 he was acquitted for the murders regardless. Unfortunately for Sinclair, in 2011 Scotland passed the Double Jeopardy Act that amended Double Jeopardy (a murder suspect can’t be tried twice for the same murder).
