New ‘The Last of Us Part II’ Trailer Reopens Old Wounds For Fans

With The Game Awards coming up on December 10th, game developer and distribution companies, as in tradition, re-release trailers for games that they released that year with the hopes to build hype and snag awards, especially the coveted award for “Game of the Year”. Today, Naughty Dog and PlayStation released a new trailer for one of the contenders seeking the top prize, along with the release of the trailer has come some hate from fans, of course, the game I’m talking about it The Last of Us Part II. The new trailer focuses on the story of the controversial character Abby and its dramatic collision with fan-favorite Ellie’s. The Last of Us Part II is possibly the most controversial game in 2020 due to how fans (over)reacted to the game’s plot involving the character Abby, so much so that fans have sent death threats to the actress playing her, and fans making a petition demanding a remake of the game.

Game Review: ‘Chronos: Before The Ashes’

THQ Nordic gave me the opportunity to experience a truly unique and beautiful RPG that is Chronos: Before the Ashes. This game is a prequel to Remnant: From the Ashes. Chronos: Before the Ashes, takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where players play as a hero who is sent to a place known as the Labyrinth to put an end to an evil that comes from it. The gateway to this other world is only open once a year and if the player dies, they come back to the Labyrinth a year later, and older. Now onto the game itself! The controls are easy to learn and are pretty basic for an RPG involving the use of shields and weapons so fans of hack & slash games will most likely have fun with this, the option to turn on the tutorial is a great option too. The fighting has Dark Souls feel to it as blocks, parries, and dodges play

The new fan film Silent Hill: Echoes, based on the horror game by Konami, was meant to be released this November, however, after feedback from fans, the filmmakers decided to reshoot a few scenes which have delayed its release. Today we have an update on when fans can see the film. We listen to the feedback,” says co-producer Ken Cosentino, “Once we saw how big the audience was, based on their response we knew we could do better and they deserve better. We agree with their input so we went back for reshoots.” Due to a major outbreak of COVID-19 in Western New York, the reshoots were suddenly postponed.” Creator and DP Codey Dingfield was disappointed but optimistic, saying that it was an easy decision, “At the end of the day we’re bummed because we wanted to roll this out, but the health and wellness of everyone come first.” It’s no joke here,” says Cosentino with a nod. “He’s right

Now onto the game itself. The controls of Visage are very involved (for a controller) as you have to use different combinations of controller buttons to look at, pick up, switch hands, store, drop, items you encounter in the game.
