Lost Horror ‘All About Evil’ Rediscovered And Set To Be Released This Summer

Following a world premiere at the San Francisco International Film Festival and a limited theatrical run in 2010, Peaches Christ‘s All About Evil disappeared underground for years, becoming the stuff of legend. Now, the demented, blood-splattered classic is back for good, coming to both Blu-ray and Shudder this June. To celebrate, Peaches Christ herself will present the film at “Peaches Christ 4-D Screenings” along the West Coast, including the Los Feliz 3 in Los Angeles on June 9 and the Victoria Theater in San Francisco on June 11 where the film was shot. Movie Review: Hatching Is Impressive & Gruesome In So Many Ways

Horror fans are always begging for something new, something we haven’t seen before, and that is exactly what you get with director Hanna Bergholm’s gruesome film Hatching. The film opens with scenes of a happy and loving family, of course, it doesn’t take long to discover that not all as is it seems. When a bird crashes through the window the mother snaps its neck, but later that night Tinja (Siiri Solalinna hears it crying and discovers its egg, but this is not a normal egg. It grows to a huge size then a creature hatches out, viewing the girl as its mother. With every day that goes by it kills and begins to look more human. Siiri Solalinna does a fantastic job in her role as a young girl struggling with pleasing her overbearing mother and playing a mother herself to the blood-thirsty creature. Netflix Geek Week Teaser Gives Us A New Look At The “Sandman” Series

During a promotional video for Netflix‘s upcoming June Geek Week event, the streaming giant unveiled a new glimpse at their upcoming live-action adaptation of Neil Gaiman‘s The Sandman, giving us a look at Gwendoline Christie‘s character Lucifer (no connection to the Lucifer TV series). In the video, Tom Sturridge, who is playing Dream of the Endless, says “Oh right, and Sandman’s coming. Trust me.” At the end of the video we see Lucifer in a brief but tense interaction with Dream in Hell. The free streaming service Tubi is the gift that just keeps on giving. One of the several new horror films recently added to their library is the holiday horror anthology 13 Slays Till X-Mas, from Blood Moon Pictures. 13 Slays Till X-Mas is set on December 24th, Christmas Eve, with five seemingly random men who are invited to a dive bar in a mysterious e-mail. They decide to pass the time by resurrecting the old tradition of telling scary stories on Christmas Eve. Gun Interactive (Friday the 13th: The Game) is gearing up for their The Texas Chain Saw Massacre video game. The new trailer (via IGN) compares the 1974 original film and the game that will make you feel like you’ve stepped right into Tobe Hooper’s classic. Like their impressive Friday the 13th: The Game, Gun Interactive has recreated locations from the movie right down to the most minuscule details. There is no doubt this game will leave your jaw on the floor. It’s so realistic that it’s scary. Featuring classic characters from the movies as well as new ones, the game is a prequel to the 1974 movie with Kane Hodder playing Leatherface, and Ed Neal, the original hitchhiker from the original movie, will be reprising his role. Season 4 Of “What We Do In The Shadows” Sinks Its Teeth Into A Summer Premiere Date

Today, FX announced the July premiere date for the fourth season of vampire comedy “What We Do in the Shadows,” which was renewed just ahead of the season 3 finale. The vampire-comedy series follows the daily (or rather, nightly) lives of three vampires, who’ve lived together for over 100 years, on Staten Island and they’re familiar, Guillermo who has discovered that he is related to the legendary vampire hunter Abraham Van Helsing and it turns out, Guillermo is really good at vampire killing. Season three ended strangely with the clan ready to leave Staten Island and go their separate ways, except for Colin who is now a baby again? Sadly, co-creator Jemaine Clement is no longer involved in writing “What We Do In the Shadows.” He left to write, direct, and star in other projects, including the upcoming spin-off of the original What We Do in the Shadows, We’re Wolves. He will also be starring in the upcoming Avatar franchise
