Review Of The Season 5 Finale Of The Walking Dead
WARNING ! THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS ! Last night we were all holding our breathe and getting ready to face the possibility of our favorite character’s death on the season 5 finale of ‘The Walking Dead’. ‘The Walking Dead’ has a long tradition of killing off characters on both mid-season and season-end finales. This episode took us on a roller coaster ride of emotions. I went from screaming at my TV, cheering, gasping, and I ran through every foul word I could think of. The finale reminded me just why I love his show. Here’s a run down of what happened. The finale opened with Morgan sleeping in a car. The next thing we know a Wolf has his gun on Morgan. When another Wolf arrives Morgan turns Jedi and beats their ass with a stick, then leaves them in a car. Rick spent a lot of the episode recovering from his fight with Pete. Until the last few minutes,

Warning: This post contains spoilers, strong language, and general criticism of the Syfy show 12 Monkeys.
The first thing I was ever asked to write for the ZADF was a review of the Syfy show 12 Monkeys. It took me a while, but I finally got around to writing. . .well okay, so this isn’t actually a review so much as is a list of things about the show that really piss me off. Look I want to like 12 Monkeys, I really do. And I’m not even going to get into the peculiarities and paradoxes of time travel, the whole fate vs. freewill thing, or any of that jazz. No, my issues with this show are pretty specific, and they pretty much all have to do with scenes and stories that take place after the plague. It may seem like knit-picking, but there are just some things about this show that make me want to shout obscenities at my television. Starting with the fact that the future seems to be very cold and bleak place.

Movie Review : The Intruders (2015)
After the death of her mother, Rose Halshford and her father, Jerry, move into a new home. While Jerry is working long hours at his architectural firm, Rose is left alone in the big old house. When Rose learns about the disappearance of the girl who once lived in the house she becomes obsessed with figuring out exactly what happened to her. Strange things begin to happen around the house when she’s alone. Is it the spirit of the missing girl trying to communicate or is it an intruder playing games? ‘iCarly’ star Miranda Cosgrove plays Rose, the main role in this psychological thriller. Donal Logue of ‘Vikings’ plays the role of Jerry, the distant father. Austin Butler (Switched At Birth) , Noah is Rose’s love interest, and is the only one who believes Rose’s claims. ‘XX’ A Horror Movie By Women For Women
A talented group of women have come together to make a female driven horror anthology, ‘XX’. The short films were written and directed by Karyn Kusama (Jennifer’s Body), Jennifer Lynch (Surveillance), Jovanka Vuckovic (The Captured) and ‘American Psycho’ writer Mary Harron. ‘XX’ is comprised of four short films tied together by a common element. Sofia Carrillo (La Casa Triste) will be creating the scenes in between the segments, as well as the beginning sequence. Women make up half of the fans of the horror genre, but it’s rare that a movie is made with women in mind. ‘XX’ will be made by women, for women. The cast and synopsis are yet to be released, but with such a talented group of writers I expect ‘XX’ will be a great movie. We will see ‘XX’ released some time in 2016.

Dead Days Season One Episode Two by Ryan Casey
(Pardon the author picture. The only cover image I could find for Episode Two was tiny!) Back in January I reviewed Ryan Casey’s best selling Dead Days Season One, Episode One. He was kind enough to send me a copy of the Dead Days Complete Season One Collection (Books 1-6) that is currently available on Amazon (and a myriad of other retailers) to check out and review. So far I have only gotten through Season One Episode Two, but what a ride! Scene Description: 5/5 I may have said it before, but I’ll say it again. I love Casey’s writing style. The level of detail put into each and every scene really drives whatever emotion or action is featured home. There are truly devastating scenes in Dead Days S1E2, just as there are thrilling action sequences. Although the description is often gory (as zombie fiction tends to mandate…), it is still eloquent and very beautiful. My favorite comparison comes from

Joseph Julian Soria (Fast & Furious), Noel Gugliemi (The Purge: Anarchy), Gina Rodreguez (Interstate), Jason Priestly (Jeremiah) and ‘Quantum Leap’ and ‘Lord of Illusion’ actor Scott Bakula star in the psychological horror, written by Youssef Dalara and writer/director Victor Teran. ‘Enter the Dangerous Mind’ will be out on DVD April 14, 2015.

A New Update On ‘The Walking Dead’ Spin-off ‘Fear The Walking Dead’
For a while we’ve been referring to the spin-off by it’s working title ‘Cobalt’, now Robert Kirkman has confirmed that ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ is indeed the show’s title. It has now been announced that we will see the trailer for ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ during this Sunday’s season five finale, as if we needed another to plant ourselves in front of the TV Sunday. The good news is, the new series will not be connected to ‘The Walking Dead’ graphic novels. There won’t be any debates on “well this character did this in the comics”, which is a constant issue with ‘The Walking Dead’. Eventually “Fear” will meet the same time line as ‘The Walking Dead’, but that won’t be for many seasons. The show will be told from just before the start of the zombie apocalypse through multiple perspectives, from the view of men, women, the old and the young and will take place in L.A. Some of
