‘Project Wolf Hunting’ Sailing Towards Its World Premiere At TIFF

Bloody bedlam breaks out on the high seas in writer-director Kim Hongsun’s gnarly action-horror that pits cops versus cons aboard a cargo ship with a sinister secret in its hold in Project Wolf Hunting, from Well Go USA, who brought you Train To Busan. “When efforts to extradite notorious convicts from the Philippines to South Korea are stymied by a deadly airport bombing, the Korean authorities commandeer the cargo freighter, Frontier Wolf, for their next transfer. As a rogues’ gallery of lowlifes, including a callous heir to a criminal empire (Seo In-guk), board the titanic vessel, they are escorted by two dozen hardened detectives and the vigilant oversight of a hot-headed Coast Guard captain (Sung Dong-il). Despite the heavy security, a plot to seize control of the ship percolates among the prisoners and soon boils over, but what neither cop nor crook appears to be privy to is that they are not the freighter’s only cargo. What starts as a

Tiffani Fest And Felissa Rose star In ‘For Jennifer’ Now On Demand

Tiffani Fest, Felissa Rose, and Dominique Swain star in director Jody Barton’s exceedingly clever horror film For Jennifer. “After a surprise horror themed birthday party, Jennifer gets a scare that leads to an accident. Jennifer is a horror blogger and a huge horror movie fan. Her friends, to cheer her up after the accident, decide they could make a movie. They collect their GoPro cameras and phones and begin to shoot. Soon, the discoveries of other low budget horror films similar to theirs begin to intersect with their own movie. This sends Jennifer on a journey to understand where these other “Jennifer” films came from. The journey leads to a discovery about the films she could never have imagined, and she realizes her participation has put her life, and the lives of her friends, in real danger. A danger they have to endure, whether by choice or not … if they want to make a good horror movie.” Lanett Tachel,

Don Mancini Teases That We Will See Chucky, Tiffany And Glen/Glenda Again

There was one thing missing from Cult of Chucky which was released last month. That’s Chucky and Tiffany’s spawn, Glen/Glenda who we met in Seed of Chucky. It left fans wondering where the little bugger was. Child’s Play creator, writer, and frequent director, Don Mancini was recently interviewed by Mezco. They asked Mancini about Billy Boyd, the voice of Glen/Glenda. The director had a simple but vague response: All I can say is…STAY TUNED!” When they asked about the future of the franchise he stated, “Expect the unexpected. Though not as unexpected as say, Chucky not being in the movie. I’d say you could expect that.” There have already been rumors of another sequel in the works and Mancini’s comments pretty much prove that we’ll see Chucky, Tiffany and Glen/Glenda together again. The response from fans over Cult of Chucky was enough to prove to the film industry that there is still interest in seeing the possessed doll again, and

An Interview With Scream Queen Tiffany Shepis

I had the opportunity to interview talented actress Tiffany Shepis, who you will recognize from both film and television. Not only did we discuss the genre in general, she gave me insight into her roles from the past and present. Check it out. Horror Fuel: “What made you want to become an actress?” Shepis: “I didn’t really want to become an actress, not that I had anything against it. I was young kid in New York, I didn’t have any family members that were in the business, so it wasn’t something that even seemed possible to me. I was reading a friend’s newspaper at school, they were a Broadway actor-kid, and there was an add for Troma. Troma was making a film called Tromeo and Juliet, and they were looking for extras. I was like ‘Oh my God! I love that company! I watch their movies all the time!’ So, I cut school and went to the audition and low-and-behold,
