In 2009 director Henry Selick brought us the wonderfully dark and twisted movie, Coraline. He’s back with a new film titled Wendell and Wild, which he co-wrote along with Jordan Peele and Clay McLeod Chapman. In the stop-motion movie, Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key play two scheming demon brothers, Wendell and Wild, who must face their arch-nemesis, the demon-dusting nun Sister Helly, and her two acolytes, the goth teens Kat and Raoul. The movie is being produced by Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions, Gotham Group, and Principato-Young Entertainment. Wendell and Wild is set to premiere on Nextflix in 2022. TWD’s Steven Yeun Joins Jordan Peele’s Secret Horror Movie

Hot off the heels of his Oscar nomination for Minari, Steven Yeun (“The Walking Dead”, Mayhem) has entered negotiations to star in Jordan Peel’s upcoming horror movie, Deadline reports. Yeun will star alongside Keke Palmer (“Scream”) and Get Out‘s Daniel Kaluuya. While most of the details and plot are still being kept secret, we’ve heard that Peele is aiming for the movie to be “scarier than both Get Out and Us.” We also know that Peele both wrote the script and will direct, as well as produce the film under his Monkeypaw Productions banner. The still-untitled movie is set to arrive on July 22, 2022. We’ll keep you posted.
