Movie Review: ‘Ghost Witch’ Is Unable To Conjure Any Scares.

Parties are usually a pretty good indicator that summer break has arrived. And it’s at a pool party that we find our boy Zeke. However, unlike the rest of the party goers who are swimming, eating, drinking, and making quite merry, Zeke is glued to his laptop doing paranormal research…even when a bikini clad blonde begins to try and get his attention. Unfortunately once she succeeds, her boyfriend decides that Zeke and his laptop need to take a dip in the pool. This is when the party’s host, Mattie, literally jumps into action and rescues Zeke and his ruined laptop. When she takes Zeke inside to get him some dry clothes, they find out they have a common interest – the paranormal. Feeling responsible, Mattie gives Zeke her own laptop computer as a replacement for his ruined one, but on one condition – he and his ghost hunting team must conduct a ghost hunt at a secluded farm house her

‘GHOST WITCH’ HAUNT’S Its Way Onto VOD

Is it a ghost? Is it a witch? No, It’s GHOST WITCH, an unholy hybrid coming to VOD this September from Wild Eye Releasing. From the press release; Based on true events. Mattie enlists a group of paranormal investigators to spend the night at the haunted house where she was attacked by an angry spirit as a child, and where a Native American girl was brutally murdered two centuries ago. Once there, they are stalked and possessed as the truth about what happened there is revealed, as they all become unwilling participants in the ghost witch’s plan for vengeance. While I haven’t yet seen the film myself, I really do love the title; to hell with nuance and subtle imagery, I want to see a motherfucking Ghost Witch! If you want to see one too, the film will be on iTunes, Google Play, and a variety of other platforms later this week.

The ‘Lore’ T.V. Show Has An Official Trailer

Last week, we announced that the upcoming Lore T.V. show has an official release date of Friday, October 13th. We included a brief teaser trailer in that article. As with most teaser trailers, we really weren’t shown a lot of what we can expect from the television show itself. Well, this morning a new, “official” trailer was released and it is chock-full of creepy images! The Lore T.V. show will be based on the popular Lore podcast, hosted by Aaron Mahnke, and it will give us 6 distinct episodes. Each episode will cover a piece of folklore that has given us many of our modern horror staples–werewolves, vampires, changelings and many other paranormal entities. The shows will use a combination of animation, narration and live action re-enactments. Rest assured, the likelihood of this series being a flash in the pan is slim, due in large part to the amazing talent that is backing the production up. Executive producers include an

Trailer And Release Date For Horror Comedy ‘The First Date’

Everyone has had a first date nightmare, let’s all join together and watch other’s nightmares instead of our own! We have the trailer debut for the Horror Comedy ‘The First Date’ coming to Amazon Video, Amazon Prime and Vimeo On Demand on September 26! “Tired of the online dating world, a hopeful woman decides to give it one last try with a charming stranger who owns his own theater and has a collection of very strange short films. Produced by Buttino and Groves as ‘The September Brothers’ in New York, the new 80-minute long feature film combines traditional horror, paranormal scares, science fiction, and plenty of b-movie humor. “What ‘The First Date’ might lack in budget, it more than makes up for it in creativity, originality, and the filmmakers’ genuine love for the horror genre. It’s scary, funny and frankly, a bit weird (in the best way possible). We think viewers will enjoy The September Brothers’ quirky and relatable style
