Jack In: Apple TV’s New Series “Neuromancer” Hacks SDCC with Its First Teaser

The San Diego Comic-Connews feed keeps surging, and this time, Apple TV+ is plugging straight into the matrix. The 10-episode cyberpunk epic officially boots up globally on Friday, January 22, 2027. It will launch with a two-episode premiere before dropping new chapters weekly through March 19. High Stakes, Low Life, and Razor Blades For the uninitiated, Gibson’s 1984 masterpiece basically invented the modern concept of cyberspace (and popularized the entire cyberpunk genre). The series follows Case (Turner). He’s a washed-up, damaged, top-tier super-hacker who gets dragged back into the neon-drenched underworld of digital espionage and high-stakes crime. Partnering with Molly (Briana Middleton)—a cybernetically enhanced “razor-girl” assassin with mirrorshades sealed over her eye sockets—the duo is recruited to pull off a dangerous heist against a shadowy corporate dynasty hiding game-changing secrets.</p>

Trailer and Premiere Date Revealed at SDCC for Ti West’s ‘Ebenezer’ Starring Johnny Depp

When you think of Charles Dickens‘ classic tale, A Christmas Carol, warm cheer and redemption usually come to mind. But leave it to modern horror maestro Ti West (X, Pearl, MaXXXine) to remind us that at its core, A Christmas Carol is—and always has been—a chilling Victorian ghost story. Johnny Depp (Cry Baby, Pirates of the Caribbean) takes on the titular miser as Ebenezer Scrooge. However, he’s bringing a dark edge to the centuries-old story. The film’s ominously simple tagline promises: “The name you know. The story you don’t.” The first trailer and images debuted at San Diego Comic Con, giving us a taste of what’s to come. An All-Star Ensemble Cast West isn’t tackling Dickens’ London alone. The director has assembled an absolute powerhouse lineup of genre stalwarts and screen legends. That includes Andrea Riseborough (Possessor) and Ian McKellen (The Lord of the Rings). They are joined by Tramell Tillman (Severance), Rupert Grint (Harry Potter franchise, Servant), Daisy Ridley

Human Trafficking Victims Rescued at San Deigo Comic-Con (SDCC)

The San Deigo Comic-Con offers attendees many fantastic opportunities to meet actors, directors, and other fans. They can witness panels for films and series and so much more. This makes it easy to forget the dark reality and danger that lurks below the surface: human trafficking. USA Today reports that a three-day human trafficking sting was conducted during the Comic-Con. It resulted in the arrest of 14 individuals and the rescue of 10 victims, including a 16-year-old girl. The operation, led by the San Diego Human Trafficking Task Force, targeted traffickers who often exploit large-scale events like Comic-Con to profit. Undercover officers posed as sex buyers to identify and apprehend the criminals while also working to locate and rescue victims. The operation involved posting advertisements soliciting sex and conducting surveillance to identify potential victims and their exploiters. California Attorney General Rob Bonta emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating, “Unfortunately, sex traffickers capitalize on large-scale events such as Comic-Con to
