Howl With A Real Party Animal – Bubba The Redneck Werewolf Now Out On Blu-ray And DVD

Get ready to howl at the moon with a real party animal, ‘Bubba the Redneck Werewolf‘ is coming to DVD. There are few indie horror-comedies that have left me laughing like ‘Bubba the Redneck Werewolf’, created and written by Mitch Hyman. 2016 marked the 20th Anniversary of Hyman’s comic that the film is based on, considered a cult classic among collectors (it’s a great comic by the way). Hyman, that little devil, also co-stars in the film, as the Satan himself. Director Brendan Jackson Rogers delivers this indie film starring Malone Thomas, Gary Norris, Sara Humbert, Chris Stephens and Fred Lass as Bubba. The soundtrack for this fun feature is provided by the rockabilly band The Blast-Offs. From the Press Release: MVD has acquired the exclusive US distribution rights for Bubba The Redneck Werewolf. Based on the cult classic comic book series, the feature film marks the second directorial effort of Brendan Jackson Rogers, who also serves as one of

The Best And Worst Horror Films Of 2016

THE BEST OF 2016 We saw a huge number of horror films released in 2016. There were a lot of great films, and a lot of bad ones too. Let’s focus on the good. Here’s our top 10 favorite horror films from 2016. To learn more about the film or to watch the trailer click the film’s highlighted title. 10. Pride & Prejudice & Zombies It was nice to see women in a horror film that can take care of themselves. While a fan of zombies, I think many people have grown tired of the slow, shambling, dumb undead, ‘PPZ’ gave us fast, intelligent zombies with a mission. 9. The Shallows Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and penned by Anthony Jasinski, The Shallows stars Blake Lively as Nancy, a woman surfing alone on a secluded beach when she is attacked by a Great White and stranded just a short distance from shore. Though she is only 200 yards from her survival,

Fede Alvarez Confirms He Will Make Don’t Breathe 2

Fede Alvarez’s hit home-invasion film ‘Don’t Breathe‘ has been a huge success, raking in $152 million at the box office alone, which is pretty impressive for a film that cost $10 million to make. I expect the Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD numbers will be impressive as well. Taking the numbers in consideration, it’s no surprise that a sequel is in the works. Alvarez revealed to Coming Soon that after he wraps production on his next film, ‘The Girl in the Spider Web’, the sequel to ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’, he will begin working on ‘Don’t Breathe 2’. In ‘Don’t Breathe’, Jane Levy, who also starred in Alvarez’s Evil Dead, plays the role of Rocky, a young woman desperate for money who goes along with her boyfriend Money (Daniel Zovato) and their friend Alex (Dylan Minnette) on what they think is easy score. The trio target a blind man (Stephen Lang), but after breaking into his home they

Abbey Grace – Everything You’ve Already Seen in One, Fun Plot

Just finished watching Stephen Durham’s Abbey Grace and, although it isn’t a perfect movie, I definitely enjoyed watching it. The movie focuses on a sister (Debbie Sheridan) who returns to her childhood home to look after her agoraphobic brother (Jacob Hobbs). Both Sheridan and Hobbs offer convincing performances of the frustrations they feel and can’t seem to understand in each other. However, as the movie progressed, it became very clear why they got he leads as opposed to the other actors in the film. Invited to the house to observe Hobbs’ character, Amber Gallaway plays a renowned doctor who wasn’t necessarily a bad actress, but she seemed more like a giddy valley-girl in booty shorts as opposed to a highly touted professional. Semi Anthony, the exorcist, used an accent that was so muddles and off that I was waiting to know if he was joking or not….the film should have been a two- person cast. Aside from the downhill spiral
