Sink Your Fangs Into The First Look At AMC+’s “Interview With A Vampire” Series

AMC+‘s new series adaptation of Anne Rice’s 1976 legendary novel Interview With the Vampire is headed your way. Today we’ve got the first images from the series giving us a glimpse of the lead cast, including Lestat (Sam Reid) and Louis (Jacob Anderson). “Interview With the Vampire” centers on an 18th century Lord, Louis, as he recounts his story and tumultuous relationship with his maker – Lestat – to an eager interviewer and biographer. The upcoming series is not the first adaptation of the Anne Rice novel; in fact, the book was famously adapted into a critically acclaimed feature film in 1994 starring Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Kirsten Dunst, Antonio Banderas, and Christian Slater. The series, which will feature eight episodes in its first season is only part of AMC+’s acquisition of Rice’s library that includes the upcoming “Mayfair Witches” series. Eric Bogosian Cast In Key Role In AMC’s “Interview With The Vampire” Series

The cast of AMC’s upcoming series adaptation of Anne Rice’s “Interview with the Vampire” continues to grow with Eric Bogosian (“Billions”) sinking his teeth into the role of Daniel Molloy, played in the film by Christian Slater, an investigative journalist whose career is circling the drain when he has the opportunity to conduct the interview of a lifetime. Bogosian joins previously announced cast members Sam Reid who will star as Lestat, Jacob Anderson who has been cast as Louis, and Bailey Bass who will play young vampire Claudia. The series is created by Rolin Jones of “Friday Night Lights,” who also serves as showrunner and writer. Alan Taylor is directing the first two of the seven episodes of the first season, which is expected to premiere in late 2022 or early 2023.

Trailer Surfaces For Vampire Shark Movie ‘Sharkula’ (Yes, You Read That Right)

Earlier today, we reported the trailer had landed for filmmaker Mark Polonia‘s upcoming horror Amityville in Space. Now the trailer for his other film, Sharkula has surfaced. Two words, vampire shark, do I even need to say anything else? In the no-budget flick, “The curse of Count Dracula lives on in shark-infested waters, claiming the lives of a tourist community. A sea hunt for the new species results in monsters, madness, and bloodshed. This great white is putting the bite back into terror, and it has helped with the aid of new vampires intent on seeing it survive.” Jeff Kirkendall stars as Dracula, Kyle Rappaport as Renfield, and Jamie Morgan as Mina. Universal Monsters’ Vampire Movie ‘Renfield’ Sinks Its Teeth Into A Release Date

Filming has now begun on the upcoming Universal Monster movie Renfield, based on the character made famous in Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The premiere date has just been announced for Reinfied, which will sink its teeth into theaters on April 14, 2023. Nicolas Cage will bear his fangs as the legendary Count Dracula, in the movie that is based on an original idea by “The Walking Dead” creator Robert Kirkman. Chris McKay (The Tomorrow War) is directing the movie, with Nicholas Hoult (Warm Bodies, Mad Max: Fury Road) playing the title role of Renfield, Dracula’s henchman. Described as a “modern-day adventure story that is comedic in tone,” the film centers on Renfield (Hoult), who has grown sick and tired of his centuries as Dracula’s (Cage) lackey. As always, the Super Bowl didn’t disappoint, well maybe it did to Bengals fans, but for those of us who tuned in for the commercials, TV spots, and new trailers, it was a winner, unveiling videos for Jurassic World: Dominion, “Lord of the Rings“, Doctor Strange and more.
