Ol’ Libby (Romane Denis) is happier than a clam in pigshit (of course as everyone knows, that is pretty damn happy) to be a new employee of an ultra-swank clothing store that is filled with plenty of those pretentious-ass types we all know and loathe. Anyway, one of those aforementioned asses steals a pair of jeans, puts them on, and before you can say “Ooh la la Sasson” she’s pinched in two by that ghoulish garment… and those putrid pants Hoover-up the red sauce left behind with the quickness! You see those sinister slacks are alive and hellbent on creating some serious employee turnover; and it’s up to Libby and her co-worker Shruti (Sehar Bhojani) to try and appease those terror trousers before the entire staff is devoured! Man-oh-man, Slaxx is a nice big slice of ridiculousness and it’s pretty damn glorious let me tell you cats n’ creeps! Director Elza Kephart, who also co-wrote this fright flick along with

The first time that I saw the trailer for Deep Blue Sea 3, I was beyond excited, I’m a sucker for anything that involves sharks. But deep down there was a lingering fear that it would just be another cheesy creature feature. Thankfully, it has real substance. Let’s talk about it. Deep Blue Sea 3 centers on Marine Biologist Emma Collins and her team who are on a mission to study the ocean’s greatest predators. Using a man-made island as their base, Emma and the team’s study is interrupted by her old flame who needs their help catching a shiver of genetically enhanced smart sharks. The majestic creatures are the least of their worries when a man proves that humans are the real animals. Tania Raymonde stars as Emma. She brings a realness to the character. Her real-life passion for sharks translates to screen. She is fantastic. During our interview she filled us in on an interesting fact, the film

Let me tell you cats n’ creeps, when a movie begins and my eerie earholes are presented with what sounds like porno score raunchiness mixed with the incidental music from the Batman show from the ’60s I know I’m going to get plenty of werewolf action… or maybe just bushels of pubes, either way it’s going to be a hair-raisin’ good time! A millionaire with waaaaay the fuck too much time on his hands gets a wild hair (too soon?) up his ass to invite a group of folks to his estate (which is rigged for recording, even on the sprawling grounds of the property) inform them that one of the gang is a werewolf, and when discovered, that person must be executed. The fact (almost) everyone doesn’t immediately leave and actually believes this preposterous nonsense like a stone cold fact is reason number one that I love The Beast Must Die… Another reason to love this one is the

Too often, the shark movies we get are campy and shallow with no real message or facts. That’s where Deep Blue Sea 3 is different. With a more serious tone, the movie is filled with real facts and the message that we need to protect these amazing creatures. I truly appreciate that director John Pogue and writer Dirk Blackman took this approach. Don’t get me wrong, there are brief moments of cheesiness, but for the most part, this is a story about determination and survival. So if you’re looking for something like Sharknado, just keep swimming. In the film, a team of researches, led by the headstrong, passionate Dr. Emma Collins, are based on an artificial island. As they study the reef and shark nursery, a past lover of Dr. Collins arrives on a ship in hopes that she will help him find three sharks that have escaped a secret lab. Not knowing the entire story, the team joins the

This July dive into Deep Blue Sea 3. New discoveries and predators emerge in the middle of the ocean in the highly anticipated feature film, from Warner Bros Home Entertainment (WBHE). Emma Collins, an eminent marine biologist, and her crew have set up a mid-ocean laboratory over a sunken island town in the ocean where they are observing the first known Great White mating area. Unfortunately, the enhanced Bull Sharks that escaped in Deep Blue Sea 2 are also there with their own evolutionary goal: cross-breeding with the bigger faster Great Whites. The mission’s patron, Richard Lowell, believes that the Bull Sharks contain the key to intelligence enhancement, which he secretly intends to sell for big profits. Now, Emma and her crew are trapped on crumbling stilt houses mere feet over the ocean, caught between predators above and below the water. Following the breakout success of Deep Blue Sea 2, itself a sequel to the 1999 cult hit Deep Blue

Nightclub impresario Gary Webster (Alexander D’Arcy) has a wild hair up his ass about filling a club in Singapore with ladies from New York City. After auditioning a bevy of beautiful babes (via seeing them in various states of undress and dancing about), the whole motley crew boards a plane which promptly erupts in flame, rips in two, and plunges into the ocean, as planes often do. I’m guessing ol’ Webster saved a buck or two booking that particular airline. In a completely realistic fashion, the gang survived that ordeal, are set adrift on a life raft… and soon see a nearby island that could lead to salvation… or getting killed by giant spider monsters… as is usually the way of things. Look, if you even bothered to read the title of this review it’s no spoiler… it’s the latter, as before long our heroes discover a cabin with a human corpse stuck to a big-ass spider web… and soon

JAWS is one of the most iconic fright flicks of the sinister seventies, and as is befitting a creature classic like this, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment is givin’ the auld toothy fellow the 4k Ultra treatment… which I just so happen to have in front of my eerie eyeballs as we speak… err, read… whatever… For the none of you that are unfamiliar with JAWS, the story can be boiled down as follows: the beachfront summer destination of Amity up New England way is having a bit of trouble as the summer season nears, and with it the big July 4th celebration… people just keep getting eaten by a rather large shark; not exactly what you’d expect from a small Maine town. Naturally the town’s mayor is not going to let common sense get in the way of the almighty dollar, and he’s prepared to let things go on as usual (an opinion only bolstered by the discovery and elimination

Sure, we all have… and so has Neil (The Karate Kid‘s Martin Kove) who has come to that beautiful island along with his wife Sherry (Mary Louise Weller) to track down his sis Madeline (Deborah Shelton) who has pulled a vanishing act. Once there they encounter miserable ol’ bastard Nereus (José Ferrer), as well as treasure hunter Frye (the legendary James Earl Jones cuttin’ himself a big ol’ slice of ham), over-sexed space-case Barbara (Lydia Cornell who starred in the Cosmic Cow vehicle Too Close for Comfort on the ol’ boob tube)… and his sister (also a space case)… wait, that’s it, less than fifteen minutes in and it’s “mystery solved?” Obviously there’s more to this terror tale, and as you may have ascertained from my
