‘Train To Busan’ Director Making ‘Hellbound’, A Supernatural Horror Series For Netlix

Director Yeon Sang-ho made waves with his 2016 hit zombie film Train to Busan, whose sequel Penninsula is on the way. Now, the director has a new project, a Netflix series titled Hellbound. The series is an adaptation of Choi Gyu-seok‘s Korean webtoon Hell, which tells of a group surviving under social chaos when a group of supernatural beings appear and condemn people to hell. Ravenous hordes of zombie swarm in the full trailer for the second season of Netflix brilliant series “Kingdom” ahead of its premiere on Friday. Directed by Kim Seong-hun, the series set during Korea’s medieval Joseon period tells the story of a crown prince who sets out on a suicide mission to investigate a mysterious plague spreading like wildfire across his kingdom. An Interview With Damian Kindler, Series Creator Of Netflix’s “October Faction”

Netflix’s new series “October Faction” has it all, action, monsters, love, drama, magic. The series’ creator Damian Kindler (“American Gods”, “Sleepy Hollow”) took us inside the series and it’s making during our interview, which I’d love to share with you. Based on the graphic novel by Steve Niles, the series follows a family of monster hunters and their teen twins who discover that their parents are monster hunters which sends their lives spiraling into chaos. “October Faction” is produced by High Park Entertainment in association with IDW Entertainment. “Haunting of Hill House” director Mike Flanagan‘s upcoming Netflix horror series “Midnight Mass,” has now officially announced its full cast. The seven-episode series follows an isolated island community experiencing miraculous events, and frightening omens, after the arrival of a charismatic, mysterious young priest. Deadline reports that Kate Siegel (“The Haunting of Hill House”), Zach Gilford (The Purge: Anarchy), and Hamish Linklater (“Legion”) star along with Annabeth Gish (The Haunting of Hill House). Italian Witch Series “Luna Nera” Will Soon Cast Its Spell On Netflix

Netflix has revealed that its third Italian original will premiere in just a few days. Titled “Luna Nera” (Black Moon), the series is rooted in history and centers on a group of Italian women accused of witchcraft in the 17th century. “Luna Nera” marks the first Italian series entirely written and directed by women, which should give it a unique perspective. Set in the Roman countryside during the Inquisition as well as the scientific revolution, the six-episode series is based on “Luna Nera”, a series of books written by Tiziana Triana that draws inspiration from real 17th-century witch hunts, trials, and executions. At the center of the series is Ade, a 16-year-old midwife who is accused of witchcraft following the death of a newborn. She flees into the forest where she finds refuge with a family of witches. Netflix Announces Movie ‘The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf’

The world of “The Witcher” is growing. Not only has the series been renewed, but Netflix has also greenlit a movie, titled The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. Few details have been released, but we do know that “the continent will face a new threat.” We’ve also learned that the film will be anime.” The live-action series’ showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich is attached to the film as well as Beau DeMayo who wrote one of the episodes for the first season. The legendary Studio Mir, who also worked on Voltron: Legendary Defender for Netflix, will animate the movie. There is no word yet if Henry Cavill or other members of “The Witcher’s” cast will lend their voices to the movie, but we hope that they will. We should know more soon.

The official trailer has just arrived for the third season of Netflix’s “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” ahead of next week’s premiere. Netflix Orders South Korean Sci-Fi Thriller “The Silent Sea”

Netflix has ordered the new South Korean original series “The Silent Sea,” a sci-fi mystery thriller set in a future where Earth is running out of water, Variety reports. Based on Choi Hang-Yong’s 2014 short film who will be directing, the Netflix original will star Jung Woo-sung (“The King”, pictured) who will serve as executive producer. Woo-Sung and his management agency Artist Company developed the series that will begin production in the first half of 2020. The series follows a story of a group of Korean scientists who set off for the moon to retrieve unknown samples from an abandoned research station. “The Silent Sea” will be scripted by Park Eun-Kyo, who also penned the script for 2009’s Mother which won the Best Screenplay prize at the Asian Film Awards in 2010. Jung also stars in thriller Beasts Clawing at Straws premiering in February 2020.
