Larissa and Matt Kane (Amanda Crew and Adam Brody) move on down to the bucolic town of Sarasota Springs where the livin’ is easy and nothing could ever possibly go wrong. Dario Argento’s Next Project… A Video Game?!

The legendary Italian filmmaker who brought us Suspiria, Deep Red, Phenomena, and his collaboration with George A. Romero with Dawn of the Dead, Dario Argento, will now add video games to his list of works as the artistic director for the upcoming horror/thriller Dreadful Bond that’s being made by Clod Studio. The indie crowd-funded game is still in the works has a Kickstarter up where you can donate, and depending on how much you donate, can receive items signed by Argento himself! Dreadful Bond is a project that’s very close to my themes, to my films, to my dreams: it has something deep that struck me immediately. DVD Review: Matriarch (2018)

Rachel (Charlie Blackwood) and Matt Hopkins (Scott Vickers, who also wrote and directed the film) becoming stranded in the Scottish countryside after havin’ a slow speed run-in with a rando tree. Soon our heroes find themselves at a secluded farm owned by Bob and Agnes Fairbairn (Alan Cuthbert and Julie Hannan respectively) who offer them shelter for the night while being mega-creepy infatuated with Rachel’s pregnancy. Speaking of “mega-creepy”, Rachel and Matt discover that the Fairbairn’s daughter Faith (Briony Monroe) is actually Ellie Adams, a child that went missing years before…in fact all of the family’s children once belonged to someone else…and now they want Rachel’s unborn son to add to their unholy brood! Man-oh-man, did Vincent Kirby (Michael Lebeau) ever make one hell of a shitty decision as a child. You see, ol’ V-man did nothing to stop a female thief from stealing his Dad’s cash, which had the adverse effect of making his Pa do the whole suicide bag. This lead Vincent to become a Catholic priest operating his “ministry” put of a piece of crap van in the rural south along with his brother Michael (Jacob Craig). Of course Father Vincent provides the service of taking Confession, and he pardons every sin…except stealing; anyone who admits to that wrong doing finds themselves in Deadsville courtesy of the rage of that petulant padre!
