A new image has landed from James Gunn-produced superhero-horror film Brightburn giving us a closer look at the young alien who seems to be a mashup of Superman and a horror villain.

Directed by David Yarovesky (The Hive), Brightburn stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones, and Meredith Hagner. Mark Gunn and Brian Gunn penned the script for the film produced by Gunn and Kenneth Huang. Executive producers include Mark Gunn, Brian Gunn, Dan Clifton, Simon Hatt, and Nic Crawley.

Brightburn arrives in theaters on May 24, 2019.
