Secrets Are Buried In The ‘Union Bridge’ Trailer

Breaking Glass Pictures has acquired North America rights to the Lynchian southern gothic thriller Union Bridge, the debut feature from writer-director Brian Levin. The new teaser trailer. The film follows Will Shipe, the scion of a powerful family living near the Mason Dixon line, as he moves back home after years in the city. His old friend Nick, who still lives in town, is feverishly digging in the land because of a vision he can’t escape. What is buried in this small town and the events around it has repercussions that affect many people. Most of all, Will Shipe, and the past and future of his legacy. Union Bridge held its World Premiere at the New Filmmakers NY Film Festival and stars Scott Friend (Fourteen), Emma Duncan (“Chicago Med”), Alex Breaux (Depraved, When They See Us), and Elisabeth Noone (“The Wire”). The film is proudly produced by Lucie Elwes, alongside Levin. Breaking Glass acquired rights to the film in March

Movie Review: Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind (2020)

The new doc Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind, hosted by Dr. Steven Greer, the world’s foremost authority on all things spaceman related, puts both spiritual belief is being utilized to contact extraterrestrials. Over the course of two hours we are witness to countless footage of alleged spacecraft, interviews, and tales of those that pilot those strange vehicles… and these are not conversations with any ol’ crackpots; no the folks talked to here are some real big brain cats, ya dig? So with all of that intellectual weight behind it, does this doc make the tales presented believable? I have no idea… hows that for a non-answer cats n’ creeps? For real though, if you are a die-hard U.F.O. skeptic, I doubt the evidence presented here will change your mind, but if you like to hold the belief that there is something out there, than this flick is a whole mess of speculative fun! This time I’m doing something a little different when it comes to showing you free movies I found on YouTube. I was contacted by a reader asking me if I come across more films from the ’70s, well lucky for them (and you) that I was able to find some gems and will definitely try to find more as I’ll admit, these are pretty entertaining! The Giant Spider Invasion (1975) Two scientists (Steve Brodie and Barbra Hale) investigate a strange source of power in rural Wisconsin that’s slowly being overrun by spiders. The House That Dripped Blood (1971) This horror anthology film stars Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Nyree Dawn Porter, Denholm Elliott, and Jon Pertwee. The film follows an investigation of an incident at a rented country house in which the real-estate agent reflects on other incidents at the house. Here’s what this whole shebang entails courtesy of the wicked words of Risk herself: “We at Tcs.Reptiles are offering Video Lessons/Workshops on Reptiles! Session lasts about an hour, We go over facts about the reptiles and answer any questions. We understand that a lot of kids are going bonkers for entertainment and wanted to offer something both entertaining AND educational.” Sounds like a noble pursuit indeed! Short Film Review: The Amulet of Fear (2020)

A woman (Ludovica Ferraro) is home alone one moonlit night, and happens across an arcane amulet located within a wicked wicker basket… and once said moonlight falls upon that jazzy jewelry a monster is released mirroring the one featured in the Stephen King book our heroine is reading to pass the time! Writer/director Andrea Ricca truly delivers the ghoulish goods in this creature feature-style sinister short… a short that plays out without a single, solitary word of dialog no less! Because of said lack of dialog, the film’s only actor, the aforementioned Ferraro, has to do all of the heavy lifting with her expressions and body acting alone… and to that end she is a champ; creating a believable and sympathetic heroine we can root for over the films scant five minute and change runtime. As for the creature of the piece, it’s a rather cool looking humanoid terror that is realized with surprisingly good CG for a film of

Three Clips Arrive Ahead Of Tomorrow’s Release Of ‘The Perished’

Ahead of its release tomorrow, we have three new clips from writer-director Paddy Murphy’s (For We Are Many) The Perished. In the film, while recovering from an abortion, a young woman is tormented by the spirits of the unborn…who seek a mother. Courtney McKeon (The Three Don’ts), Fiach Kunz (“Game of Thrones”), Paul Fitzgerald (The Sleep Experiment), and Lisa Tyrrell (Urban Traffik) star. Murphy produced along with Barry Fahy and Vachon Gill. Director Joe Lynch (Mayhem and Wrong Turn 2) hails the film, saying, “It’s like if Ken Loach remade Don’t Look Now.” Murphy, who produced alongside Barry Fahy and Vachon Gill. The Perished is set to be released on April 7th in North America through The Horror Collective.

New Souls-Like Game ‘Mortal Shell’ Coming

The 15-man team made up of AAA gaming veterans make up Cold Symmetry, and to make their mark on the gaming world they wasted no time and went right for the throat with their upcoming Souls-like flagship game, Mortal Shell. Souls games are a genre of games that are inspired by or a lot like the games in the “Dark Souls” game series where players earn points (souls) by killing enemies and can lose all of them if defeated in which these games are known to being very taxing. Souls games are also known for the unique combat system where dodging, and parrying attacks are just as important, if not more important, than attacks. Players take on the role of an empty vessel who is summoned by the “Dark Father” to retrieve glands from your fallen foes. The creepy AF trailer is here for the supernatural Korean horror film 0.0 MHz. Written and directed by Sun-Dong Yoo, and based on the comic by Jak Jang, the film explores a “bizarre psychological phenomena such as seeing ghosts. One day, five members of the club go to an abandoned house which is famous for paranormal activity. They summon the spirit using brain waves and try to hear a statement in person. That night, the true nature of the spirit fear reveals itself.” Myung-shin Park, Jung-Hee Nam, Yoon-young Choi, Shin Joo-Hwan, and Eun-Ji Jung star. 0.0 MHZ has conjured an April 23rd US release date.
