Thomas Jane (“The Expanse”, The Mist, Deep Blue Sea), and his daughter, Harlow Jane (“Texas Rising” I Love Us) will star in the roles of father and daughter in the thriller Dig, whose international rights have just been acquired by Screen Media Ventures, a Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment company.
Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood) and Liana Liberato (If I Stay) also star in DIG, directed by K. Asher Levin. from the script penned by brothers Banipal Ablakhad and Benhur Ablakhad.
Contracted for home demolition, a widowed father (Thomas Jane) and his daughter suffering from major hearing loss (Harlow Jane) arrive at the construction site. They are soon taken hostage by a dangerous couple (Hirsch and Liberato), who will stop at nothing to retrieve what lies beneath the property. The father and daughter must work together to outsmart their captors and survive the grueling night.
Clay Epstein’s Film Mode Entertainment will launch international sales for the film at Cannes. The film is made in partnership with Film Mode, BondIt Media Capital, and producer Daniel Cummings and is in post-production. First-look footage of the film is set to premiere during Cannes.
