Samantha Mathis, who recently starred in the Blumhouse and Hulu’s horror anthology series “Into the Dark”, as well as Guillermo del Toro’s “The Strain” has also joined the cast alongside Jackson White, Forrest Goodluck, Natalie Alyn Lind, Jack Mulhern, Isabella Star LeBlanc and Foxy Brown‘s Pam Grier.
Production began last week on the new film, which is rumored to be a prequel. Lindsey Beer (Chaos Walking) is in the director’s chair. Beer wrote the newest draft of the script originally written by Jeff Buhler.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian are producing the still-untitled movie that will premiere exclusively on Paramount+.
