All right, animal lovers and horror fans alike, listen up! Night of the Zoopocalypse has officially stampeded into theaters today, March 7th. Earlier this week, we shared some clips. To celebrate today’s release, we’ve got three brand-new clips to give you a sneak peek at the chaos.
These clips are dropping some serious hints about how it all gets started. We see more of David Harbour, the “Stranger Things” star, voicing Dan, the mountain lion with a heart of gold (or, at least, a heart trying to avoid being eaten). Plus, there’s a whole menagerie of other zoo animals getting their close-ups, and trust me, they’re not looking their best.
The story goes like this: Colepepper Zoo goes completely bonkers. It’s up to Gracie to team up with Dan to survive. They gather a ragtag crew of unlikely heroes, including a movie-buff lemur, a fearless capybara, and the downright adorable Poot, a tiny but mighty pygmy hippo. These guys have to use all their wits to outsmart a horde of zombie animals and take back their home. However, it won’t be easy.
Behind the scenes, we’ve got some serious animation talent. Ricardo Curtis (The Incredibles) and Rodrigo Perez-Castro (The Book of Life) are co-directing, bringing their experience to this crazy project. James Kee (A Christmas Horror Story) and Steven Hoban (Cube, Ginger Snaps) wrote the script for this fun flick.
The cast is packed with familiar voices. Scott Thompson (“The Kids in the Hall”), Paul Sun-Hyung Lee (“The Mandalorian”), and Gabbi Kosmidis (“Unicorn Academy”) lend their talents to bring these animal characters to life.
Night of the Zoopocalypse is a fun blend of adventure, comedy, and a dash of horror, making it a perfect family-friendly flick with a unique twist. It’s all about teamwork, courage, and protecting the ones you love, even when they’re trying to eat your face. And with Clive Barker as an executive producer, you know there’s gonna be some seriously creepy and wild moments.
So, if you’re looking for a fun movie to take the family to, or if you just want to see some zombie animals causing mayhem, grab your tickets and head to the theater to watch Night of the Zoopocalypse now from Viva Pictures.
