Writer/director M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘The Visit’ will make you think twice about spending time with your elder family members. Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions along with Mark Bienstock (See No Evil 2) serve as producers for ‘The Visit’. Ashwin Rajan (Wayward Pines) and Steven Schneider (Insidious 1 and 2) are labeled as executive producers. Kathryn Hahn (We’re the Millers), Peter McRobbie (Lincoln), Olivia Dejonge (The Sisterhood of Night) and Michelle Rose Domb (Rosewood) star in the twisted film.
In ‘The Visit’ Two children arrive at their grandparents’ remote Pennsylvania Farm for a week long visit and soon realize something is very wrong with their grandmother (Deanna Dougan) and grandfather (Peter McRobbie), too bad their mother doesn’t believe them. Their grandfather warns them to stay inside their room with the door shut after 9:30pm at night and to always follow the rules. When the children hear a strange noise outside their door after 10pm they make the mistake of opening the door and terror ensues. Will they be able survive their visit?
‘The Visit’ will be out on DVD and Blu-ray on January 5th. Both DVD and Blu-ray will come with the feature ‘The Making of The Visit’.
