With what happened a couple of years ago with the lockdowns, many people became fascinated with how diseases work, and how they affect people. Call it morbid curiosity, or call it legitimate understanding, either way, part of you wonders what it would be like to create or fight diseases. Well, the folks over at DryGin Studios have been answering this question with their “Bio Inc.” game series. They were awesome enough to send over their latest title to their series (Big thank you, by the way!) for me to check out. This is Bio Inc. Redemption. Bio Inc. Redemption is a strategy medical simulator where you are either the virus or the doctor trying to save the patient. For this review, I chose the side of death, because I’m a morbid twerp like that, so this is based mainly on that playthrough. Currently in development, Dread XP, DarkStone Digital, and Paramount Games have teamed up to bring one of Paramount’s biggest horror blockbusters Paranormal Activity to all gaming platforms in 2026. Who says the zombie apocalypse has to be hard, scary, and gloomy? Why fear zombies when you can hack into (what’s left of) their brains and make them your buddy? That’s what EKO Software and NACON’s Welcome to ParadiZe, where survivors can enslave zombies and survive the zombie apocalypse. Welcome to ParadiZe is set in the middle of a global zombie takeover and the only beacon of hope is a place called ParadiZe, a community where zombies work for the humans and protect them from other zombies. After you arrive, it becomes clear that you need to make it what the ads promised. Now, onto the game itself! Give yourself some time to get used to the controls as the tutorial machineguns instructions at you almost right away. Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game is a crazy, fresh take on asymmetrical survival horror experience. Based on the iconic 80’s movie, the 3v7 multiplayer game brings back the unique, over-the-top mix of horror and comedy. In the battle between Killer Klowns and the citizens of Crescent Cove, team up and harvest humans or survive and escape from an alien invasion! The three Klowns hunt down human players using alien abilities and zany weaponry on their mission to harvest humans for their invasion. Meanwhile, seven players will try to survive by exploring Crescent Cove for supplies to fight back against the Klowns while also trying to avoid being captured by them. Eye strain is a big part of gaming, unfortunately. Hours in front of a screen, may it be a TV, monitor, or laptop can cause you to call it quits too early. Since 2024 is the year of the dragon, GUNNAR teamed up with tokidoki to celebrate with the Year of the Dragon glasses! I want to thank both GUNNAR and tokidoki for sending me a pair to check out! The first official Horror Fuel game review of 2024! Let’s check out Casper Croes and Top Hat Studios’ love letter to late 90’s survival horror games, this is Alisa: Developer’s Cut. Alisa: Developer’s Cut takes players into a maddening world where Alisa, a royal agent in the 1920s is hunting a notorious thief and ends up in a strange Victorian-like mansion where mechanical oddities lurk and Alisa must try to escape and keep her mind intact. The Controls for Alisa: Developer’s Cut by default are the old-school “tank controls” which, I have not used in a long time, but thankfully, you can switch the controls to “modern”. The graphics for Alisa: Developer’s Cut are nostalgic with pre-rendered backgrounds and low poly character models. The soundtrack for the game really hits deep inside with callbacks to the very first Resident Evil along with the horrible voice acting, which at first I thought was bad for this game till I remembered how

As part of Steam Next Fest, Odd Meter and 11 Bit Studios released a new trailer for the upcoming mind-bending psychological adventure that will make players question faith and authority, INDIKA. Along with the new trailer comes the opportunity for PC players to experience the demo. In INDIKA players take on the role of the title character, a young nun, as she undertakes a thought-provoking odyssey that explores the very nature of good versus evil. INDIKA is a third-person adventure game that effectively combines exploration and environmental puzzles, with a hint of platforming. Devil Inside Us: Roots of Evil is about Father August Heylel, a Vatican-recognized Exorcist who is penning a letter describing his most haunting exorcist case that began in 1984 where he failed to save the family but was able to banish the evil within the house. Over the years he’s been watching over the house and the families that moved in who all have lived in peace till in 2020, the evil returned. In an announcement worthy of a circus barker, game developer Pixlesplit, and game publisher Daedelic Entertainment announced today the release date of their upcoming mind-bending psychological horror REVEIL that will be coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. REVEIL is a psychological horror and puzzle game that puts players in the body and mind of Walter Thompson, a father, and husband who is thrust back into the haunting images of the Nelson Bros. Circus where he once worked. Searching for his missing wife and daughter, he must use his wits to navigate several chapters of interlaced narratives across backdrops dripping with atmos-FEAR! Players will have to take note of their surroundings as details will help them uncover the truth in this first-person horror experience where players solve puzzles and explore the dark depths of Walter’s memories with the circus acting as the backdrop to the tale.
