Wolf Mother Available For Limited Run On YouTube Starting Nov. 3rd

Halloween may have already come and gone, but the folks at JoBlo Media have a treat they’ve been saving for us, my Little Monsters. They’re shaking up the traditional concept of distribution by offering the exclusive release of Wolf Mother, to rent on YouTube for ten days, starting November 3rd. So if you’ve been feverishly anticipating the film’s 2017 theatrical release – this is no trick, rather a belated Halloween treat. If you aren’t familiar with this “multi genre” film, written and directed by Erik Peter Carlson, allow me to enlighten you. It’s a story of two people seeking redemption: one is a fallen starlet who landed on her back (if you know what I mean), and the other a petty criminal. How exactly is redemption reckoned for these two? They hope it will be reached by teaming up in hopes of solving a high profile kidnapping case. But the absolution they seek will take them on a shadowy path

Movie Review – Tabloid Vivant is a Tale of Beautiful Torment

Tabloid Vivant Written and Directed by Kyle Broom Starring – Jesse Woodrow, Tamzin Brown, and Chris Carlisle To refer to Max Klinkau and Sara Speed as kindred spirits would be to make a gross understatement. They both seek notoriety, but don’t want to achieve it by way of the humdrum and conventional means that many are more than happy to accept. Max and Sara are striving for something truly unique. Max has developed a “system of painting” that will radically change the way people will view the classic art form, even in an age where digital art has gained prominence. Sara sees this as an incredibly fascinating concept, and is ecstatic to be tasked with writing a critique based on Max’s new style. They retreat to the seclusion of a house deep in the woods, which belongs to Max’s agent. He explains how the incorporation of an aspect of digital art into a classical form, such as painting on canvas

Movie Review – Fox Trap is a Tale of Revenge Served Tepid

Prom night, for many high school students it’s a night of celebration. However, for one particular group of high school girls, it’s a night for staging a mean spirited prank on another of their female classmates. They find her sharing an intimate moment with a young man in her class when the other girls spring into action. And everything seemed to be going as planned until the young woman, who is the intended target of their mean girl hijinks, is severely injured leaving her permanently disabled. Eight years have passed, and the group responsible for the events of that tragic prom night have been invited to a reunion at a secluded country estate. And while they all seem rather amiable towards each other, some are being quite reticent about how truly awkward this gathering is for them. [TV Review] SCREAM’ Halloween Special: Total Bloodbath SPOILERS

Returning with a gory and Halloween’ esque Halloween special, SCREAM aired last night. [Brutally] Murdering a main character in the opening scene, this set the tone for the rest of the episode: total bloodshed. And I kinda was not complaining. This time around Keiran gets slashed by the so-called returning king of Lakewood Bloodshed, Brandon James. News spreads quick about his murder and it wasn’t long before Brooke came to break the news to Emma. During this Noah and Gustavo are being praised by their editor Jeremy Blair that their book on the Lakewood murders (oh, how I love the Scream 1 homages) was a hit and demands a sequel. Putting an all expense trip to Shallow Grove Island together for Noah to get inspiration by a different mass murderer, Anna Hobbs, Jeremy sends Noah, his friends and himself off. With Audry’s new girlfriend, Gina, staying back for work, Audry has enough time this episode to bond with Emma and

SCREAM’ Premieres Tonight With A Two Hour Special – MTV Renewed For Season 3

Fans of the hit horror franchise, SCREAM should now rejoice: SCREAM: The TV Series has been renewed for a third season by MTV! Unfortunately though for fans the third installment will only hold 6 episodes. Now this could mean one of two things, one: “this is the final farewell” to Ghostface and SCREAM or, it could mean: “Shorter season (season 1 had 10 episodes, season 2 has 12 going on 13-14) more time for kills and less time for bullshit”, either one it is, the third season is slated for 2017 to air. Like season 2, season 3 is said to have a new set of show-runners, which means to me: MTV hated what Richard Register and Michael Gans did with the second season making it a psychological thriller rather than a slasher, which I kinda agree with. SCREAM should be a lot more gorier! The announcement for the third season I credit solely to the vast support fans of

Well hello there my Little Monsters…I’m so glad you’ve decided to join me. Recently I returned to my humble abode to find a box sitting on the front porch – a box I had been eagerly awaiting. Normally the anticipation of a delivery is associated with the knowledge of what exactly is in said package. However, my knowledge of the contents therein was somewhat limited. You see, the folks at Horror Pack were kind enough to send me one of their August Blu-ray Packs. Despite the fact that we are now well into October, I saw this as an incredibly kind gesture. Many of you may already know what Horror Pack is, but if some of you don’t…let me tell you what it is. Horror Pack is a…no, sorry…let me rephrase that. They are THE Horror Movie Subscription Service, and every month each subscriber receives a box containing four brand spanking new horror movies on DVD or Blu-ray. The titles
