Sci-Fi Thriller, Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter, To Be Distributed By Sony

&feature=youtu.be What is Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter? It’s a little bit Mad Max, a little bit Terminator and yes, even a little bit Star Wars. It’s a tale that takes place in the distant future, where artificial intelligence seeks to overthrow civilization not only here on Earth, but on other worlds as well. The film was written and directed by Niel Johnson, and features Tracey Birdsall as Sienna. Also featured is a supporting cast that includes William Kircher (The Hobbit), Daz Crawford (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Stephen Manley (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock), and Marilyn Ghiggliotti (CLERKS). Rogue Warrior very recently garnered several accolades at the Malibu West International Film Awards. Among those were Best Actress (Birdsall), Best Director (Johnson), Sound Design (Vic Kaspar and Dirk Kloiber) and the Unique Vision award (Johnson). On the heels of these festival wins comes good news concerning the film’s release. Sony Pictures has signed on to distribute the film (hopefully very early)

Movie Review – The Hollow Is A Slow Burner…A Little Too Slow

The Hollow Written and Directed by Miles Doleac Featuring – James Callis, Christiane Seidel, Miles Doleac, William Sadler and William Forsythe. A young couple are passing through a small town in Cutler County, Mississippi, looking for a place to rest their road weary heads for the night. They seek the advice of a local deputy sheriff, who tells them of a nearby parking locale, known as The Hollow, could be a suitable place to camp for the night. Shortly after arriving, they realize they’re going to have company when another couple parks close by. While they may have banked on spending the night there, it’s unlikely they thought it would be their FINAL resting place. The next morning, the couple and a local girl are all found shot to death at The Hollow. If this wasn’t bad enough, the young woman passing through with her boyfriend just happened to be the daughter of a Congressman from Illinois. Like it or

Chloë Grace Moretz Joins Suspiria’ Remake Cast

The newest headshot slapped on to the cast list of Luca Guadagnino’s Suspiria remake joining Tilda Swinton, Mia Goth, and Dakota Johnson is Chloë Grace Moretz’s. Moretz joins the cast with “scream queen” already slapped on her resume, starring in a number of other remakes such as The Eye, Let Me In, The Amityville Horror and Carrie’… already and she’s only 19. Damn! Will she join the ranks of Janet Leigh, Jamie Lee and Neve Campbell? The remake is suspected to be “extremely, extremely scary.”, at least that’s what it’s director [Luca Guadagnino] says about it, TAKE A LOOK “I finally saw the movie when I was 14, and I became obsessed. I grew up as a big fan of Dario Argento (director of the original). It made a great impression on me. So I look forward to try to translate the impression I had…but at the same time, [make it] something that is extremely, extremely scary.”. Buuut…unfortunate for Guadagnino,

New Gallery For Earthtastrophe Shows..DRAMA!

As I caught wind that Nick Lyon’s Syfy TV-Movie Earthtastrophe aired in Asia last Wednesday, I found some new pics dropped from the very flick ON Syfy.com featuring some of the cast holding people at gunpoint, stalking others, hoarding cash and bunkering down. Earthtastrophe’ is said to star Tonya Kay as the lead among Paige Lauren Billiot, Malani Coomes, Rachel Coomes, Andrew J Kraters, Alex Mansour and Evan Sloan Weinstein In a white hot flash of light, and with no warning, one minute our moon is there, the next it’s gone. Then, a second flash. And that’s the last thing anyone on Earth can remember. 11 months later, it’s not post- apocalyptic; it’s apocalyptic as Earth has been sucked through a wormhole, literally ripping our planet from the inside out. With bizarre disasters and civilization collapsing, our heroes must find a way to survive and get to “safe ground” before it’s too late. The next air date for Earthtastrope stands

Ode to 80’s Horror: Critters

The 80’s was full of new monsters in horror films, and one of the new developments was small, fuzzy death creatures a la Gremlins. One of the more notable (and hysterical) of these was the blast of a movie Critters. WHERE IT CAME FROM: Although written in the early 80’s, Critters is often mistaken for a rip-off of 1984’s Gremlins, much to the chagrin of director Stephen Herek (who also directed The Mighty Ducks, millennials). It may, however, be because of the success of Gremlins that New Line Cinema brought the fuzzy little Critters to the screen. WHY WE LOVE IT: This movie is A BLAST. Critters is a sci-fi horror film about fluffy man-eating aliens with big mouths that make funny noises. Who doesn’t want to watch that?! Critters is also an essential 80’s horror film because of the amazing synthesizer soundtrack, unbelievable 80’s clothes (my god the shoulder pads), and general aura that makes it more essentially 80’s
