[FILM REVIEW] SpaghettiMan’ Is Reminiscent To Deadpool’ In A Good Way

In the wake of the box office hit starring Ryan Reynolds, adapted from a Marvel Comic (written/illustrated by Rob Liefeld and Fabien Nicieza), Deadpool, Spaghettiman’ was born. The film in which I felt nearly took the modern era comedy streak Deadpool dabbled with and tweaked it for its own good. And it worked. The outrageous story of man becoming a hero from eating a bowl of old-spaghetti warmed through an defective microwave proved to be a laugh riot! The super film, bestowed to this reviewer a perfectly casted and well rounded film that begs for a sequel, but will one really do it justice? Films like these seem to do quite good with out one. Though, the performance by Benjamin Crutcher did particularly make this reviewer reminsiant of that of Ryan Reynolds’ performance in Deadpool’, whether it be the script or actor. Ode to 80’s Horror: A Nightmare on Elm Street

In honor of Halloween approaching (everyone’s favorite holiday) and whispers of the second remake happening (Kevin Bacon, anyone?) this #Odeto80s is on that 1986 Wes Craven classic: A Nightmare on Elm Street. WHERE IT CAME FROM: Wes Craven had already had horror movie success when he read a series of disturbing articles in the newspaper: “It was a series of articles in the LA Times, three small articles about men from South East Asia, who were from immigrant families and had died in the middle of nightmares—and the paper never correlated them, never said, ‘Hey, we’ve had another story like this.” Crave took this horrifying premise and paired it with his own terrifying childhood memory of a creepy man that had come to his window , and put a red and green striped sweater on it to create Freddy Krueger. HEIR, From Fatal Pictures, Is A Truly Disturbing Short Film

HEIR Written and Directed by Richard Powell Starring – Bill Oberst Jr. as Denis, Robert Nolan as Gordon and Mateo D’Avino as Paul . Everyone has desires, nobody is exempt from this. Some of these desires are beyond the pale, and are considered to be taboo or even perverse. Gordon has such a yearning he wishes to fulfill and makes arrangements with another party, so to do. What is more – he intends to involve his own son. With his son (or shall we say heir) Paul in tow, Gordon heads to the restaurant that was chosen as a meeting place. There Gordon and Paul meet Denis, who is supposedly an old friend of Gordon’s. After a quick getting to know you period, they all head Back to Denis’ house to further “socialize” That, which Denis and Gordon have planned, is unsettling. Deadworld Zombie Soda: Makers of Delicious Zombie Themed Concoctions.

I remember the first time I encountered any kind of horror themed soda, was during my employ at a mall based goth/punk/metal/etc. retailer. And to tell you the truth I can’t remember the names of said sodas, because they were frankly unimpressive. They were mediocre sodas with horror themed labels, and were more of a novelty than anything else. Over the years I’ve tried others and have found that most of the time the novelty and not necessarily the quality is the selling point. This definitely is not the case with Deadworld Zombie Soda. The last weekend of June, I attended Days of the Dead. It was there that I first saw the folks from Deadworld Zombie Soda peddling their wares. I was there the entire weekend and found myself circling back around to their table many times. On the final day I gave in and decided to pick a few, from their 12 varieties, to make up a 4-pack.

Everything We Know So Far About The IT Remake!

“They all float down here” Although I wasn’t born when the original IT hit theaters, I mostly definitely grew up in horror movie loving family so word got around. The new Pennywise when first talked up seemed to me like a great idea but frankly I was skeptical on how the character was going to look (I even went as far as too try and find out before the reveal!). We recently reported Pennywise’s new look and I have to say I’m pretty impressed. I like how they didn’t try to make a new actor walk in the footsteps of Tim Curry, by letting the costume be totally different. Thumbs up IT 2017…so far. Movie Review: Beta Test Needs Some Serious Upgrades.

Beta Test Written and Directed by: Nicholas Gyeney Starring: Manu Bennet, Larenz Tate, Linden Ashby, Sara Coates The correlation of violence in video games leading to violent behavior in real life – it’s a hotly debated topic everyone has an opinion on, whether they’ll admit it or not. Andrew Kincaid, the big boss at a gaming industry giant called Sentinel. is no different. Kincaid thinks that guns in games can be more therapeutic than harmful. His rationale being that the digital release of aggression can be cathartic, making it less likely that said aggression will pour over into the real world. Kincaid and Sentinel’s chief security officer, Orson Creed, seem to be at odds on this issue. Creed is rumored to be pushing for Sentinel to be contractors, creating tech for military use. Going to be at the Art House’s Convergence’s annual Art House Theater Day on September 24th? No? A 4K restoration of the original of Phantasm (dubbed Phantasm: Remastered) screening and a special sneak peak of Phantasm: Ravager are going down there…. How about now? There’ll be over 185 theaters participating in this event, so this leaves no excuse for Phantasm fans to miss this! Between Phantasm: Remastered bestowing a brand new 5.1 audio soundtrack on top of receiving a 4K restoration, to Phantasm: Ravager making its first appearance in theaters nationwide starring returning (now sadly deceased) icon Angus Scrimm.
