FOX Unleashes New Promo And Teaser For The Exorcist’. You Gotta’ See This..

Turns out FOX’s The Exorcist isn’t a remake! It’s a continuation and EW just dropped a brand new photo to go along with the brand new trailer that was released. The new promo pic features a girl with her head turned backwards, just like the classic Linda Blair scene in 1976 that went down in horror history. Here’s what Jeremy Slater who penned the pilot had to say to Entertainment Weekly If you watch the pilot, you’ll see that we have some…homages to some of the famous moments [from the film]. You’ll see there’s a scene where they reference the original exorcisms in Georgetown. That’s our way of letting fans know that the story you love isn’t being written out of existence. [But] this is a new story with new characters that takes place in the same universe as the original film. The original Exorcist film followed the story of the MacNiel family being struck by the possession of young Reagan

Fede Alvarez Comments On Don’t Breathe’s’ Similarity With 1967’s Wait Until Dark’

Evil Dead’ director Fede Alvarez brought light to the idea his new film Don’t Breathe starring Fear The Walking Dead’s Daniel Zovatto is related to the 1967 thriller Wait Until Dark’ during an interview with Bloody Disgusting. “‘Wait Until Dark’ is a movie that I hadn’t seen. And when my mother asked me what I was doing, I told her the new story [Don’t Breathe], and she was like, “Oh. It’s like Wait Until Dark in reverse.” I was like, “What?” She goes, “This Audrey Hepburn movie. She was nominated for an Oscar for it.” I was like, “Fuck? What’s that thing?” And I went and watched it. But I didn’t know about it,” confessed Alvarez. Alvarez actually wasn’t pissed at that fact. He wasn’t angry he possibly copied another’s film. He actually was EXCITED! Check it out: “But when I saw that it just got me more excited, because, of course, it’s a completely different story, but the opportunities

Phantasm: Ravager’ Gets Fall Release Date! Original Franchise Getting Touch-Ups

According to DreadCentral the fifth installment in the classic Phantasm franchise, Phantasm: Ravager is hitting theaters and coming out on digital HD on October 7th. Phantasm Ravager is set to follow the story of Reggie after his decades long pursuit of the malvovent Tall Man, to finally confront the heart of the Phantasm saga. Luckily the original (OG!) cast members have joined the cast for the franchise’s last hurrah. YEP you read right! This is the franchise’s last film. Thankfully because I would never want to see another actor portraying Angus Scrimm’s character, especially after his death earlier this year. Returning back to my previous thought, Michael Baldwin, Bill Thornbury, Kathy Lester and Angus Scrimm, along with some great new characters have all returned to star in the sequel. But lets face it. The original is always better. So Well Go USA Entertainment announced their acquisition of North American rights for the iconic Phantasm franchise. The original film is getting

[TV Review/Recap] SCREAM: The Orphanage

Scream: The TV Series’ has been steadily producing a suspense factor that some horror fans mistake for laziness. Based on the Scream films, the TV series focuses on the relationships between the main characters, the psychological toll on them and the rising body count of their small town by the Ghost-Faced killer. Last episode brought Emma to get a call by her boyfriend which was soon to be revealed to be the killer using her boyfriend’s phone. The killer then proceeded to taunt Emma with a video of her boyfriend tied up inside a Carnival Funhouse. As the tension rose, Emma set off into the Funhouse and the Lakewood deputy followed. As Emma searched for Keiran, her boyfriend, the Lakewood deputy got attacked by Ghost-Face. The deputy on the ground unconscious, was soon found by Emma and momentarily after was then raided for a gun in which Emma used to shoot the masked killer only for her to shatter the

The Road to Death House Pt. 3

“Please don’t let this be full of jump scares like The Conjuring movies.” “I hope this is smart and actually has a story.” “I don’t expect much from this. It’ll likely suck. Just accept it.” “Stupid title. Stupid premise. Nothing to see here, folks.” “This will suck.” “I have hopes for this.” “Based on the cast of old stars [that] they have, I don’t see this being any good.” Internet comments. Most of them from “trolls.” Trolls are people I sum up by asking a simple question: “And where is the movie you made?” Oh…that’s right. I believe there can be too much democracy. The Internet has given a voice to groups of people that should not have one. I’ve posted my thoughts on a filmmaker’s response to uneducated critics here: https://horrorfuel.com/horror/movies/zombie-movies/when-filmmakers-strike-back/ So let’s talk about what Death House will be–not conjecture or ignorant shade cast by anonymous little people who are too afraid to commit themselves to making something.

#SDCC: Twin Peaks’ Season 3 Gets 2017 Premiere Date

Don’t correct me if I’m wrong but I believe this is the first series to set 26 years between seasons. It’s been 26 years since Twin Peaks’ originally ended and just recently a third season started moving forward. Although at the now ending SDCC there wasn’t a Twin Peaks panel, original T-Peak alum Ray Wise was. Wise was at an entirely different panel actually, Batman: Killer Joker’s. During the panel Wise revealed to fans he expects Twin Peaks season 3 to air on Showtime during the a Summer of 2017. Wise further revealed he’s starring in the new season as well as David Lynch (co-creator of series) has directed all 18 episodes of it. Personally I wasn’t around when the show originally aired and I haven’t watched a single episode, but I do know the cult following it created. After its 1991 cancellation a film dubbed Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me’ was released which acted as a prequel-esque to

#SDCC Evil Dead 4′ Still Could Happen! Ash VS Evil Dead’ To Talk Army Of Darkness’

Evil Dead 4′ isn’t dead! During SDCC (San Diego Comic Con) at one of the press panels, executive producer Rob Tapert teased Evil Dead 4′ could still happen as he’s quoted saying “Nothing’s off the table, we’re thinking about what that could be, and who that would please. Sam [Raimi] talked for many years, teasing the world that we were going to make ‘Evil Dead 4’. And that kind of turned into a TV series. Now Bruce [Campbell] and I are going, ‘Well, there’s a possibility of a movie here.’ So there could be one. Anyways, we’ll see what happens.” How exciting is this news?! I love Evil Dead! But I also love Ash VS Evil Dead. Now I’m wondering if the TV series has to end before Evil Dead 4′ sees light of day? Anyway, as we all know Ash VS Evil Dead never actually referenced any other films from the Evil Dead trilogy other than Evil Dead 1&2.

#SDCC Unleashes Sick New Poster And Trailer For Kong: Skull Island!

Who want’s to awaken the king? Warner Bros and Legendary Pics ! The decades old production companies have just released a action packed new poster and teaser for their 2017 film Kong: Skull Island. Both the poster and trailer releases were both done in honor of the soon ending SDCC (check out our coverage below!). The King Kong franchise reboot is set to star Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John Goodman, John C. Reilly, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Wilkinson, Jason Mitchell, Corey Hawkins, Thomas Mann and John Ortiz. Let’s discuss the new poster and trailer shall we: The poster revealed to me a giant ape vaguely concealed by a cloud of mist with a soldier on the remains of a beast trying to view it. According to reports by ScreenCrush the solider is that of a Vietnam-war solider during the Vietnam-war era. So with that taken into count and with the trailer drop, I’m guessing the film is set in the
