The Hunt Is On In The New Trailer For Hulu’s Predator Prequel ‘Prey’

This summer, the hunt is on. From Dan Trachtenberg, the director of 10 Cloverfield Lane, comes a new installment of the Predator franchise, the prequel Prey. The new trailer released by Hulu gives us a glimpse of the hunt. The movie follows Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people, stalking and ultimately fighting what turns out to be an alien predator. Prey features a cast that almost entirely features Native American stars including Amber Midthunder (The Ice Road, “Roswell, New Mexico”), Stormee Kipp (Sooyii), and Julian Black Antelope (Tribal), Michelle Thrush (The Journey Home), and Dakota Beavers. Written by Patrick Aison (Jack Ryan), the prequel is produced by John Davis (Jungle Cruise, The Predator), Lawrence Gordon (“Watchmen”), Marty Ewing (IT: Chapter Two), and Jhane Myers (Monsters of God).

“Walking Dead” star Andrew Lincoln returns to TV in the first teaser for Academy Award winner Guillermo del Toro‘s upcoming Netflix anthology series “Cabinet of Curiosities” (aka “10 After Midnight”). The series is described as “a collection of unprecedented and genre-defining stories meant to challenge our traditional notions of horror,” Lincoln stars alongside Essie Davis in one of the “8 blood-curdling tales” from The Babadook director Jennifer Kent. Netflix has been busy during Geek Week, releasing teaser trailers for several series, including Tim Burton’s “Wednesday,” “Locke & Key,” and “The Sandman.” They’ve also shared the first trailer for their new series, “The Imperfects,” which turns test subjects into monsters. Set to premiere later this year, the Netflix Original series centers on “Three twenty-somethings were turned into monsters by evil scientists against their will. Now they’re on the hunt for the mad-man responsible in hopes of reversing the side effects… but they’re being chased by a government agency, dealing with college applications, teenage romance, random monster mutations, and all sorts of coming of age-related dramas. Review: Apple TV’s “Prehistoric Planet” Is A Must See Docuseries

I have watched a lot of documentaries about dinosaurs; I am a colossal dino nerd and proud of it. Judging by the trailer for Apple TV’s “Prehistoric Planets” docuseries, I knew I was in for something good. I was wrong; what I got was something far beyond “good,” it’s incredible! Narrated by David Attenborough, who has long been the voice of the BBC and many scientific documentaries, series, and specials, “Prehistoric Planet” rolls back the clock 66 million years to when dinosaurs roamed the earth. With a combination of CGI and filming, the stunning docuseries explores the locations the beasts once called home. The first episode is titled “Coasts” and takes viewers to coastal lands and islands where we see a family of T-Rex, giant turtles, and more. The next episode takes us deep into the “Desert,” where dinosaurs struggle to survive. Netflix Renews Hit Zombie Series For Season 2

Earlier this year, the South Korean zombie series “All of Us Are Dead” became a quick hit, and rightfully so; it’s a great coming-of-age series that features a ton of gore, action, great effects, and hordes of hungry zombies. With the way the show ended (not going to spoil it), fans wondered if we’d see more of it. The answer is yes! Netflix has renewed the series for another season! That’s not the only good news for fans of the series about high school students fighting to survive both zombies and each other. The first season’s directors, Lee JQ and Kim Nam-Su, and its writer, Chun Sung-il, will be back for season two. The first season was based on the digital comic by Dong-Geun. As for the first season’s success, Netflix states, “After its premiere, All of Us Are Dead shot straight into the top 10 most-watched non-English TV series in 91 countries and stayed there for two consecutive weeks.
