New ‘Sharp Objects’ Poster Doesn’t Feel Very Welcoming
The new poster for HBO‘s upcoming series “Sharp Objects” might leave you feeling tense, and not sure why. While it looks normal enough, it feels like something is lurking just below the surface. The poster may say “welcome home”, but it doesn’t look very welcoming to me. Starring Amy Adams (Arrival), Patricia Clarkson (The Green Mile), April Brinson (The Veil), Violet Brinson (The Veil), and Matt Craven (X-Men: First Class), the series is from director Jean-Marc Vallée and written by Marti Noxon. “Based on the book by The New York Times bestselling author Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl, Dark Places), this eight-episode series tells the story of reporter Camille Preaker (Adams) who returns to her small hometown to cover the murders of two preteen girls. Trying to put together a psychological puzzle from her past, she finds herself identifying with the young victims a bit too closely.” “Sharp Objects” is set to premiere July 8, 2018.

His answer, Doctor Sleep, King’s sequel to The Shining. His wish was granted. Warner Bros. announced earlier this year that the film was on its way. Today, we’ve learned that the adaptation has landed a 2020 release date. “Doctor Sleep takes place years after the events at the Overlook Hotel and focuses on the now middle-aged Danny who is still traumatized. He’s followed in his father’s footsteps and has problems with anger management and alcoholism. He soon gives up drinking and settles in a small town in New Hampshire. DVD Review: The Violence Movie (1988)
A deranged, shades sportin’, killer (David Wilkinson) on the lam walks right on into the home of a teen named Joey (Joseph Shaughnessy) like the mother fuckin’ cool breeze he is. While there he dons a Freddy Kruger mask and waits for J-man to get home…which when said event occurs leads to a full on WWE style brawl that nothing can stop (the sound effects alone are worth whatever you pay for this DVD)…not even the arrival of Joey’s friend (How do we know he’s our hero’s friend? Why he announces “Hey Joe, it’s me your best friend!” before he gets his throat slashed). Will Joey survive this epic confrontation? (Actually this shit is going to be spoiled for you in like another paragraph or so, so you have been warned) Running a stately 14 minutes, The Violence Movie is a bargain basement gore packed de-fuckin’-light! It’s shot right on a VHS camcorder, and is nothing more than some slasher

Plot Details Surface For Halloween (2018)
Reports are coming in tonight about the plot of this year’s highly-anticipated movie Halloween, meant to be a direct sequel to the original. In the film, “Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.” Reportedly, this will be Laurie and Michael’s final showdown. Comicbook.com is reporting that Michael is never referred to by name, only as a “masked figure who has haunted her”, while all of the other films have implied that Laurie and Michael are siblings. Co-writer Danny McBride has already stated that “We’re kind of ignoring all the films past the first one,” He continued. ““It picks up after the first one, but it’s sort of an alternate reality. It’s as if the first Halloween ended in a slightly different way.” Virginia “Ginny” Garnder (Marvel’s Runaways),

John Wick director Chad Stahelcki is teaming up with “Colony” creator Ryan Condal for the adaptation of the sci-fi comic Analog, THR reports. Set in the near-future, “the security of the internet has been rendered useless thanks to an event referred to as the Great Doxxing. ‘The Terror’ May Be Back For Season 2
Fans of the show “The Terror” may be curious as to how the story will continue after the beautifully heartrending end to the fictionalized account of the lost Franklin Expedition. Well as it turns out according to an interview with TV Guide, Soo Hugh states that “The Terror” series was greenlit by AMC as an “anthology” show, meaning that every season will focus on one particular story just like “American Horror Story“, “True Detective“ etc. The show’s name was taken from the name of the novel that it’s based on which in turn was named after one of the ships, the HMS Terror. So now it may seem that the title of the series all along means that this will be a horror anthology series. I know, I know, “Tells us what the next season will be about Dan!” well that’s up in the air at the moment. All we know is that it will be a new story altogether.

Human Centipede Director Back With New Vile Film ‘The Onania Club’
Human Centipede may one of the most stomach-churning franchises ever made, but it sounds like it may have some competition. Director Tom Six (pictured below) has shared new details about his next project, The Onania Club, described as “inhumane”. While the plot is being kept under wraps, he has promised that the psychological thriller features “mostly strong female characters” and will “definitely pass the Bechdel test with flying colors.” Set in Hollywood, the film is said to be “one of the most vile, inhumane movie experiences of all time.” That’s saying a lot coming from the man who built a franchise about people having their mouths sewn to other people’s butts. The film stars Jessica Morris, Deborah Twiss, Darcy DeMoss, Flo Lawrence, and Karen Strassman, according to Indiewire. The first poster teases that sex will be a big party of the movie, after all, the tagline is “Come and see, see and come.” But Six is not new to controversy.
