The witching hour is extending, and AMC is officially packing its bags for Massachusetts. Interview with Terry Stone, Star of The Rise of the Footsoldier: Origins

The following is a syndicated interview. On the eve of LEGEND broadcasting the Channel Premiere of THE RISE OF THE FOOTSOLDIER: ORIGINS, we talk to Terry Stone about the challenges of playing Tony Tucker and why he thinks ORIGINS is the best film in the franchise. In RISE OF THE FOOTSOLDIER: ORIGINS, Tucker returns home from the Falklands War with severe PTSD. What was that like to emotionally explore? As an actor it was an interesting thing to play. It took me on a journey so when you see my character laughing a lot in the film it’s like a mask to hide all the shit that’s going on in my head. It also explains how you can go from 1 – 10 in violence. Lots of Footsoldier fans didn’t know that Tony Tucker was in the Army so this was a nice reveal and I think any forces veterans that have experienced real war and combat would understand it.

The Housemaid’s Director, Paul Feig, signs on to Direct the Horror Movie ‘Detention’

It looks like director Paul Feig is trading in his signature sharp suits and maids for a one-way ticket to the dark side. Hot on the heels of directing the global smash-hit thriller The Housemaid last Christmas—and with its highly anticipated sequel, The Housemaid’s Secret, already on his plate—Feig is diving headfirst into pure terror. Deadline reports that he has officially signed on to direct Detention, a brand-new horror-thriller from genre titans Blumhouse, Atomic Monster, and Platinum Dunes. Daniel Gold penned the spec screenplay, and while the exact plot details are currently locked away in a high-security locker, insiders say the project is exactly the kind of sinister material Feig was hunting for. After dipping his toes into the thriller pool with The Housemaid, the director reportedly wanted to try his hand at something significantly darker. A Heavyweight Horror Coalition While the movie doesn’t have an official studio home just yet, industry insiders note that Universal Pictures will almost certainly

"American Horror Story" Season 13 Loses Its Pop Princess

“American Horror Story” Season 13 Loses Its Pop Princess

In a disappointing twist for pop music fans, Ariana Grande has officially dropped out of “American Horror Story” Season 13. Variety reports that the Grammy-winning superstar had to exit the FX anthology series due to unavoidable scheduling conflicts with her ongoing Eternal Sunshine world tour. The news comes as a bitter pill, especially since Grande previously teased her involvement back in November. The gig would have marked her grand debut in the AHS universe, while serving as a delightful “Scream Queens” reunion alongside Murphy, Emma Roberts, and Billie Lourd. The Coven Reassembles While losing Grande hurts, FX isn’t exactly short on star power for the upcoming milestone season. The network recently dropped a star-studded list for Season 13. They confirmed an absolute powerhouse reunion of the franchise’s most legendary, heavy-hitting alums. Returning icons include Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Angela Bassett. Also returning are fan favorites Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, and Leslie Grossman. The

“The Terror” Will Return for Season Four with Another True Story Inspired Tale

If you thought AMC’s prestige horror anthology series “The Terror” was dead and buried, think again. The show is proving to be just as resilient as the monsters it features. Fresh off wrapping its third season just last month, “The Terror” is officially locked in for Season 4. Executive producer David W. Zucker confirmed the new season during a chat with ScreenRant, revealing a major milestone: “We’ve just closed the deal on the book we’re gonna develop next.” While the specific novel remains secret, this news is a massive victory for horror fans. After a grueling, multi-year hiatus between seasons two and three, not only is the series officially moving forward, but Zucker’s update implies we won’t have to wait another half-decade to see it. A History of Historic Horrors “The Terror” has carved out a brilliant niche by pairing meticulous historical periods with deeply unsettling supernatural dread inspired by true tales. Movie Review: Highway to Hell (1992) – Visual Vengeance Blu-ray

Psycho killin’ machine Toby Gilmore (Benton Jennings) springs himself from the Big House and sets off on a madcap murder spree. Along the way, Fran Tucker (Blue Thompson) witnesses Terrible Toby ventilate a dude’s skull on the open road and soon becomes Gilmore’s hostage. Hot on his heels is police chief Earl Dent (Italian peplum familiar face Richard Harrison), a lawman with a personal ax to grind with our footloose felon! Directed by Bret McCormick (Repligator), working from a script by Gary Kennamer (who we will get back to in a bit), Highway to Hell is down and dirty regional regional filmmaking that would be solid drive-in or Grindhouse material in days past, but in… well different “days past” it was one of many low budget flicks pumped out to video rental joints in the ‘80s and ‘90s. While the film certainly delivers some suspense and a bit o’ bloodshed… and a helicopter… the real stars are the Texas locales
