Jeff Bowler and Shaun Redick (Get Out/ Blackkklansman) will produce for Wonderfilm. Todd Garner (Tag, Mortal Kombat) will also produce. Bret Saxon and Yvette

Largest Cast Of Horror Icons Ever Assembled Star In ‘Death House’ – Now On Netflix

The largest cast of genre icons ever assembled star in Harrison B. Smith‘s unique, gore-filled film Death House (review), which has just arrived on Netflix. Originally, the script for Death House was penned by Texas Chainsaw Massacre actor and genre icon Gunnar Hansen. Smith rewrote the script, keeping Hansen’s vision intact. Smith even got Hansen’s approval on the script just before Hansen passed away. In the film, Agents Toria Boon and Jae Novak have their own dark pasts, arriving at Death House to tour its levels and observe its denizens first hand as well as the medical and mental experiments of Drs. Eileen Fletcher and Karen Redmane whose depraved experiments date back to the Nazi doctors of World War II. Prison cells are virtual reality holodecks that recreate prisoner environments before they were incarcerated. A special hallucinogenic gas keeps inmates under control. All Hell literally breaks loose inside the facility when an EMP device detonates, killing all power and communication,

Movie Review: Who Killed Cock Robin (2017)

In a case of major karma, journalist Wang Yi-chi (Kaiser Chuang Kai-hsun) witnesses a hit and run and nearly a decade later comes to own the car involved in the crime. As anyone with no common sense and a death wish would do, he decides to solve the cold case on his own and dives head first into a world of sinister secrets with only his charm to get him through…he’s probably as good as dead… Coming from director Cheng Wei-Hao who previously brought us the ghost heavy supernatural shocker Tag-Along franchise, Who Killed cock robin gets a lot of mileage out of it’s gritty neo-noir tone and the considerable charisma of it’s star Kai-hsun. Speaking of which, the character of Wang Yi-chi is a master at convincing people to fork over their secrets based solely on his personality alone…it definitely works for the character, and makes him incredibly personable…but it also presents a bit of a hindrance to the

Movie Review: Caesar And Otto’s Paranormal Halloween (2015)

Well, this ought to be a real treat; I get to review the sixth film in a series I have never heard of! It’s also a horror comedy, which I run hot and cold on (although there have been some good ‘uns as of late). Anyway, let me shift my ghoulish gaze upon Caesar and Otto’s Paranormal Halloween. CAOPH (I’m not writin’ that title out e’ery time… I just don’t have the stamina or a handle on that whole “copy”/”paste” sorcery the kids are all into these days) concerns the wacky misadventures of a couple of jack asses (the eponymous Caesar and Otto) as they are charged with care-taking a haunted house. What follows is nearly 90 minutes of supernatural shenanigans, famous fright flick parodies, and meta nonsense. Honestly, ol’ Caesar and Otto’s Paranormal Halloween ain’t half bad. The cast (comprised of folks I don’t know and folks I certainly do, like scream queens Felissa Rose, Tiffany Shepis, Brinke Stevens,

The First Trailers For New ‘Ghostbusters’ Movie Arrive

Yesterday we reported that Jason Reitman is following in his father’s footsteps and directing the next Ghostbusters movie. Today, we have the trailer announcement as well as the first teaser trailer that hints at the return of an original. Before you start stressing out, the movie will be a direct sequel to 1989’s Ghostbusters II. It will completely bypass the 2016 trainwreck. The film is “set in the world that was saved decades previously by the proton pack-wearing working stiffs in the original 1984 movie.” I’ve always thought of myself as the first Ghostbusters fan when I was a 6-year-old visiting the set. I wanted to make a movie for all the other fans,” the publication quoted Reitman as saying. “This is the next chapter in the original franchise. It is not a reboot. What happened in the ’80s happened in the ’80s, and this is set in the present day.” Reitman said. The Juno/Tully director co-wrote the script for
