New Series In The Works Based On The Atlanta Child Murders By A Serial Killer

One of the most infamous crimes to ever make headlines in Georgia was the child murders that took place in Atlanta from 1979 to 1980. The murders of twenty-nine, mostly-male, African-American children, teens, and young adults left the city in terror. Wayne Williams was arrested and convicted for the murder of two adults but has been linked to the child murders, though he maintains his innocence when it came to being blamed for the twenty-nine murders. FX is teaming up with actress Regina King for a new series about the murders. The show is based on Kim Reid’s 2007 memoir “No Place Safe”. Reid was 13 when the serial killer was at work. The series will be filmed from her point of view while she watches her mother worked to solve the case, Deadline reports. Regina King has a long list of great roles, including on the series American Crime, The Leftovers, Shameless, The Big Bang Theory, The Strain and

Man Left Terrified After He Stumbles Across A Creepy Scene In The Woods

It is not rare for people to find creepy things while exploring in the woods, but one man found something not only odd but scary. James Rankin was hiking in the secluded woods in Long Island, New York when stumbled across an eerie scene, dozens of missing persons posters taped to trees. As he films his discovery, you can hear the terror in his voice as he says, “I’ll cut right to the chase because I might die. Look what these are,” as he zooms in one of the posters with the picture and information of Jennifer Kesse, last seen in Florida back in 2006. As he explores the area and posters, you can see that someone is camping nearby. He also finds what looks like an old cage built out of limbs. After hearing a voice he takes off running, clearly he is truly scared. After he posted the video on Facebook the local police were alerted. They determined

Short Film Review: STILL Is A Frightfully Comical Zombie Tale

When walking through a local park or street market, one might encounter all manner of artists, performers or…well, performance artists. Mimes are likely the most popular choice to be relegated on the lowest rung of the performance artist ladder, but there is something even lower – the “living statue”. Because while mimes at least have the skill to make people believe they’re stuck in an invisible box, the “living statue’s” claim to fame is the ability to remain stationary for long periods of time. That’s nothing, because I’ve seen plenty of road construction workers do the same thing for better money. However, if you just happen to be dead center in the middle of of a zombie stampede, where they are attacking everyone or everything that moves, the ability to remain deathly still is a huge asset. So that’s where we find our main character, a “living Statue”, at the present. He is quite literally peering into the eyes of

Today, I sat down to talk with Joston Theney. The Georgia native, who is an actor, writer, director, and producer already has several films and series under his belt, such as Bleed 4 Me, Axeman, Axeman 2: Overkill. He also worked as a writer and producer for the series Uncut and Let’s Do L.A. with Mr. Hollywood. Horror Fuel: “What made you want to get into the film industry?” JT: “You know, I’ve been a long time fan of film in general. Growing up, I was always a quiet kid. I was always kind of shy. Movies and television is what I always turned to. As I grew up I created my own little stories and stuff, short stories. I had a little comic book I started. I think all of that overtime naturally led to me picking up a camera.” Horror Fuel: “I have to ask, what was the name of the comic?” JT: “[laughter] I want to say

The Strangers 2 Finally Set To Begin Production – For Real This Time

After years of talk and rumor we can now tell you that The Strangers II is finally beginning production. At a recent screening of The Blackcoat’s Daughter the good folks over at Dread Central caught up with Brian Bertino. While talking with Bertino, they asked about the long awaited sequel to Bertino’s 2008 home invasion hit The Strangers. Come to find out, the project is a go and is set to begin filming this summer. As for the reason for the long delay, Bertino lays the blame at the feet of Relativity Media and has stated that the wait was due to issues with the rights, which Relativity owned until recently. I’m thrilled that is seems like finally now people are behind the movie that are interested in making it. I was thrilled to see it out of Relativity’s hands and into a group of producers’ hands that are actually excited about making it. It’s very crazy to think that

SCREAM’ Drops Tracy Middendorf…And Rest Of Cast?; Season 3 Equals New Cast, New Plot..New Show?

MTV’s slasher remake of Wes Craven’s SCREAM ended last in bloodshed and horror with last October’s Halloween Special. The TV-movie came after a suspenseful season of the fan-fav show. Past criticisms of the show, such as the very low bodycount totals, were put to rest with the film as it brought a hefty six corpses with its finale. The next season which was already reported to be a short 6 episode one, will be helmed with different showrunners and possibly a different direction due to the departure of series vet. Tracy Middendorf (Wes Craven’s New Nightmare). Does Middendorf’s departure mean her character has been murdered like in Craven’s slasher? Time will tell. Middendorf’s departure was confirmed via Twitter earlier this month The MTV series’ predecessor, the SCREAM film franchise, followed the story of Sidney Prescott as she and anybody in contact with her were terrorized and killed by the Ghost-faced killer. Prescott’s mother proved to be motive for the killing
