A “Stranger Things” Spin-Off Is In The Works

Fans are stoked with “Stranger Things” returning for its second half of season 4 on July 1st. But at the same time saddened by the fact that there is only one more season of Netflix’s hit series left. Well, we might have some good news; it seems there is a spin-off series in the works. “there are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of Stranger Things; new mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes.” The creators have said. Deadline quotes the Duffer Brothers as saying “There’s a version of it developing in parallel [to season 5], but they would never shoot it parallel,” Ross reportedly said. “I think actually we’re going to start delving into that soon as we’re winding down and finishing these visual effects, Matt and I are going to start getting into it.” Matt added, “The reason we haven’t done anything is just because you don’t want to be doing it for the wrong

Stranger Things On Elm Street? New Season Has Connections To Nightmare On Elm Street Franchise

Odds are, you have watched the first half of “Stranger Things” season 4. Many fans have now picked up on the similarities between this season and the Nightmare on Elm franchise. Should we call it “Stranger Things On Elm Street?” Let’s break it down. First, all of the kids targeted by Vecna (this season’s big bad) are plagued by terrifying dreams. Sound familiar? Next, and the most obvious connection, is that Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund, makes several appearances this season. Englund plays Victor Creel in the series, a man accused of murdering his family and children. Of course, we all know that Krueger was a child killer, but there’s more. Freddy is scarred when he was lit on fire, and Creel’s face is heavily scarred in the act of self-mutilation. In Nightmare on Elm Street, Freddy started as a man and was sent into the dream world when he died. In “Stranger Things,” Vecna started as a man raised

New 'Elevator' Trailer Traps Nine Strangers In A Terrifying Situation

New ‘Elevator’ Trailer Traps Nine Strangers In A Terrifying Situation

Elevator anxiety is a real thing, at least for me and around 5% of the population. When those doors slam shut all I can think about is it falling, crashing to the ground in a crumpled heap, or freezing midfloor leaving me stranded. Something worse than that happens in the new horror film, simply titled Elevator, in which nine strangers become trapped in a Wall Street elevator with terrifying consequences. The film stars John Getz (Zodiac, The Fly), Anita Briem (Justice League, Journey to the Center of the Earth), Christopher Backus (Mindhunter, Truth Be Told), Shirley Knight (As Good As It Gets, Grandma’s Boy), and Joey Slotnick (Hollow Man, The Good Wife). Get ready to witness a terrifying trip when Elevator lands on DVD on May 31, 2022, from Bayview Entertainment.
