Nana Gouvea, Eric Roberts And Tom Sizemore Star In ‘Black Wake’

Jeremiah Kipp will be directing the independent sci-fi thriller ‘Blake Lake’, which was written by Jerry Janda. Well known Brazilian actress Nana Gouvea will be making her English language debut in ‘Black Lake’ and will star along side Eric Roberts, Tom Sizemore, Rich Graff, Jeremy Beauchamp, Jeremy Fernandez, Kaylin Iannon and Kelly Rae LeGault. In the film Specialists meet in a top-secret facility to investigate a series of mysterious deaths that are occurring on the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. When one scientist examines the video evidence, she comes to realize that the suspected parasite may actually be something much older and more dangerous than anyone could have guessed. Now she must convince her colleagues of the real danger before an ancient being rises from the sea to bring death to the world. ‘Black Wave’ began filming in July. The filmmakers have put together an early teaser, which is to be followed by a full trailer in September.

‘Ouija 2’ Has Found It’s Director And It’s Star

The sequel to 2014’s supernatural thriller ‘Ouija’ has found it’s director. Flanagan is not only directing the sequel, but is also co-writing the movie’s script along with Jeff Howard. Flanagan and Howard have teamed up before, with 2014’s ‘Oculus’. Annalise Basso has signed as the star of ‘Ouija 2’. Basso will play the role of a young girl grieving the loss of her father. Basso is no stranger the Flanagan and Howard, she appeared in ‘Oculus’ as well. The sequel will once again revolve around a Ouija Board. Unlike in the first movie, this board is has been described as “ancient”. Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller will producing for Blumhouse Productions. Brian Goldner and Stephen Davis will produce under Hasbro and Trevor Macy will produce under the Intrepid Pictures’ banner. Sara Scott will oversee the movie for Universal. The Numinous by Tristan Michie

The Numinous by Tristan Michie could most easily be classified as a science fiction-thriller, but it definitely has some horror and suspense elements thrown in. Although I made contact with Michie in a writing group, I was interested in reading The Numinous based on the premise, alone. One of my favorite films is Event Horizon and I couldn’t help but see the resemblance in the book’s concept. Book Description: Light years away from home drifts a cold, bleak ship; seemingly void of all life……. Markus Clyde woke from his Stasis in a lonely, dark room, dimly lit by the emergency power. With not another soul in sight. In his confused and disorientated state, he desperately tries to figure out what has happened, why was he here? Where are the rest of the crew? Filming For ‘The Conjuring 2’ Is Underway

Filming for ‘The Conjuring 2’ is finally underway. James Wan is directing the film, which is said to be loosely based on true events. Wan is the director behind some of the most popular horror films of the past decade, including ‘The Conjuring’, ‘Insidious 1 and 2 ‘and ‘Saw’. The sequel to 2013’s outbreak thriller ‘Contracted’, ‘Contracted: Phase II’ is set to be released September 4th on VOD and in theaters through IFC Midnight. The sequel was directed by Josh Forbes.
