The CW Is Sex Swapping Characters For ‘The Lost Boys’ Series

Brace yourselves, you’re not going to be happy with I’m about to tell you. We’ve been reporting for a while that a series adaptation is in the works for the beloved 1987 vampire film The Lost Boys. Today we have an update. The CW’s series is going to be very different from the story we know and love. In fact, several characters are getting a gender swap, including the Frog brothers, originally played by Cory Feldman and Jamison Newlander. That’s right, the two vampire slayers are going to be girls in the series. Collider is reporting that the Frogs will now be named Cassie and Liza. Ugh (*facepalm). Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for expanding storylines to make all viewers happy, but when main characters based on cult classics are drastically changed I can’t
