In the 1880s while citizens in England were fixated on the murders in London’s Whitechapel district, another serial killer was hard at work in the town of Reading (Red-Ing). This killer’s victims were infants and by the time Jack the Ripper was on his third victim, this killer well surpassed him. The killer’s name was Amelia Dyer, occupation, Baby Farmer, a profession related to wet nursing in Victorian England except for the children in a Baby Farmer’s care was sold to them. In the Victorian era in England, there was the Poor Law Amendment Act of 1834 caused a lot of heartaches, in short, it basically found ways to punish people who were poor. In this law it punished single mothers with illegitimate children by, lawfully, removing the financial responsibility to men who fathered illegitimate children. This added more stress for these mothers since at this time it was taboo for women to be single and have children; this also

Scotland Yard Inspector O’Neill (Eddie Byrne) is hella pissed due in no small part to his department’s stunning failure in clappin’ some irons on ol’ Saucy Jack (Jack the Ripper to you boils n’ ghouls). To help solve the case O’Neill calls for his old chum, New York City Detective Sam Lowry (Lee Patterson, sporting a 1950’s pompadour that must have been all the rage in 1888). Soon the Dublin Dynamo and…Sam…are balls deep in red herrings and sinister suspects, all of whom could potentially be the horrific hooker hacker. While this is going on, our man Sam gets a case of the hornies for Anne Ford (Betty McDowall), the ward of tight-ass A-number one…namely Dr. Tranter (John Le Mesurier), which goes over with the good Doctor like a rather large turd in a perfectly good punch bowl. Anyway, will our heroes save the day and discover who is behind the murder biz, or will Jack slip silently into the

Fans of the show “The Terror” may be curious as to how the story will continue after the beautifully heartrending end to the fictionalized account of the lost Franklin Expedition. Well as it turns out according to an interview with TV Guide, Soo Hugh states that “The Terror” series was greenlit by AMC as an “anthology” show, meaning that every season will focus on one particular story just like “American Horror Story“, “True Detective“ etc. The show’s name was taken from the name of the novel that it’s based on which in turn was named after one of the ships, the HMS Terror. So now it may seem that the title of the series all along means that this will be a horror anthology series. I know, I know, “Tells us what the next season will be about Dan!” well that’s up in the air at the moment. All we know is that it will be a new story altogether.

This July, an new series will be premiering on The History Channel, American Ripper. The 8-part series will delve into the possibility that the real identity of Jack The Ripper has been discovered through genetic testing and other evidence. The theory that Jack The Ripper was actually H. H. Holmes, the infamous American serial killer who built the killer hotel, has long been recognized as a possibility. The series will shed light on the belief that the two killers are one in the same with evidence that includes a published memoir by Holmes, clues from his childhood and early victims in Gilmanton, NH, crime scene photos, interviews with historians and detectives, new leads on the remains of Holmes’ murder victims, and more. Now, with the help of Jeff Mudgett, the great-great-grandson of Herman Mudgett (aka Holmes), there is a real chance that people might finally get more than speculation, real proof. Everyone knows the name Jack the Ripper. The serial killer who was never captured from the 1800s in London; however, there is a much less publicized killer from England dubbed Jack the Stripper. Like his near-namesake, he slaughtered prostitutes, was never captured, and the killings ceased on their own for an unknown reason. Between the years 1964-1965 The Stripper murdered 6-8 women and deposited their bodies near the River Thames. His victims were not sexually abused, but they were left nude and horrifically mutilated for the public to discover. No connection between the victims was ever confirmed, but it was highly thought that they were all prominent members of the underground pornography scene in London. John Du Rose, the chief of Scotland Yard at the time, searched vigilantly for the killer, and a list of over 7,000 suspects were interviewed…but to no avail. Then Du Rose had another plan. He held a news conference where he announced that he list

Screenwriter Kevin Williamson has penned many horror related projects in his career including Scream, I Know What You Did This Summer and The Faculty and the series The Following. Now, Williamson has new project in the works. Deadline has reported that Williamson created and is writing the pilot episode of Time After Time for ABC. The series is based on the 1979 film and novel of the same name. In the show H.G. Wells peruses legendary serial killer Jack the Ripper to the 20th century. Revenge actor Josh Bowman will star as John Stevenson who lives a double life, one as a brilliant surgeon and the other as Jack the Ripper. H.G. Wells will be played by Freddie Stroma (Extraterrestrial, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ). Jack the Ripper, a serial killer who stalked and slaughtered women (mainly prostitutes) in the Whitechapel area of London between 1888 and 1891, has yet to be identified, though many have their suspects.
