Disney+ Unveils First Action-Packed Trailer For Marvel’s “Moon Knight”

Disney+ has unveiled the first trailer for their upcoming Marvel series “Moon Knight,” giving us our first look at the incredible action that awaits us. Dune star Oscar Isaac plays the role of Marc Spector, suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). After dying and being brought back to life by the ancient Egyptian god Khonshu he becomes Moon Knight. To hide his identity he creates the alter ego of high-roller and playboy Steven Grant. He also uses the identity of taxi driver Jake Lockley to obtain information from lower-level contacts. Moon Knight frequently goes head to head with the evil syndicate known as “The Committee” in the comics. Moon Knight was created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin and was introduced in the comic Werewolf by Night #32 in August of 1975, before getting his own comic in the early 80s. ‘Morbius’ Hit With Another Delay

Well, boils and ghouls, we’ve got some bad news. Just ahead of its theatrical release, Sony has delayed the release of Marvel’s Morbius (again). Last announced to be opening in theaters on January 28th, Morbius will now be landing in theaters this April. Deadline is reporting that “one factor motivating the push was Sony’s huge (continuing) success with Spider-Man: No Way Home, which established itself as the highest-grossing film of 2021,” bringing in $1.37 billion at box offices and will continue to show on screens meant for Morbius. Jared Leto stars as Michael Morbius, a scientist who, while trying to find a cure for a rare blood disease, accidentally transforms himself into a living vampire. Though disgusted by his own bloodlust, he chooses to prey upon criminals he deems unworthy of life. Norman Reedus May Be The Next Ghost Rider

It looks like Marvel may be adding “Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus to its cinematic universe as the new Ghost Rider, a part Reedus has been itching to play. Reedus fans have been taking to social media platforms demanding that he is the next actor to play the vengeance-seeking character. Mostly aimed at Marvel’s bossman Kevin Feig, the messages have been shared and promoted by Reedus who has expressed his desire to play the part many times. The first reports of Redus’ desires go all the way back to 2017. I want a fire skull. I want my face to turn into a fire skull and whip a chain around. That would be great.” Reedus says. Cinematic Hub has reported that now an insider has gone on record saying that Reedus has indeed been cast in the role previously played by Nicolas Cage. Disney+ Unveils New Teaser For The Marvel Series ‘Moon Knight’

Dune star Oscar Isaac becomes Moon Knight in the new teaser for the upcoming MCU/Disney+ series of the same name that features Ethan Hawke as the lead villain. Mohamed Diab (Clash) is both directing along with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Resolution, Spring, V/H/S: Viral, The Endless), as well as serving as showrunner. The Moon Knight character was created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin and was introduced in the comic Werewolf by Night #32 in August of 1975, before getting his own comic in the early 80s. In the comics, Marc Spector is an ex-mercenary and boxer turned superhero, Moon Knight, after dying and being brought back to life by the ancient Egyptian god Khonshu. Sink Your Teeth Into The New ‘Morbius’ Trailer

A new trailer has arrived for Marvel’s Morbius, giving us a glimpse of Morbius’ origin story and a ton of bloody action. Jared Leto as Michael Morbius, a scientist who, while trying to find a cure for a rare blood disease, accidentally transforms himself into a living vampire. Though disgusted by his own bloodlust, he chooses to prey upon criminals he deems unworthy of life. Tyrese Gibson stars as FBI agent Simon Stroud; Jared Harris (“The Terror”) plays Morbius’ mentor; Matt Smith (“Doctor Who”) plays the film’s villain Loxias Crown; and Adria Arjona (Pacific Rim: Uprising) is Morbius’ love interest. Daniel Espinosa (Life) directs from the script penned by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless based on the Morbius character created by writer Roy Thomas which made its debut in Amazing Spider-Man #101. Marvel Actress To Star And Produce Disney’s New ‘Tower Of Terror’ Movie

Disney has turned quite a few of its rides into films, like Pirates of the Caribbean, we’ve gotten a Haunted Mansion movie, and the Jungle Cruise’s movie will be out later this year. Now, news has come that a film inspired by the Tower of Terror is on its way with Marvel star Scarlett Johanson, who plays the Black Widow. Josh Cooley, who directed Toy Story 4 is writing the script, according to Collider, with Johanson producing under her These Pictures banner along with Jonathan Lia. The Tower of Terror, also known as The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, was inspired by Rod Serling’s anthology series “The Twilight Zone”. The ride, set in a fictional Hollywood hotel, opened in 1994 in Walt Disney World and is featured at several Disney Parks. Marvel’s ‘Blade’ Has Found Its Writer!

Stacey Osei-Kuffour‘s name should sound familiar, she’s the writer of HBO’s “Watchmen” series and she has just signed on to pen the script for Marvel’s new Blade movie and will hold the title of the first black female scribe to write a Marvel movie, THR reports. The film was first announced at 2019’s Comic-Con and been searching for a writer since. Oscar-winner Mahershala Ali (Green Book) is set to star as the “daywalker” Blade, who was originally played by Wesley Snipes. The character made its first appearance in 1973’s comic Tomb of Dracula No. 10 and has since become a cult favorite. Blade was born part vampire after his pregnant mother bitten by a vampire while he was still in the womb. Besides writing for “Watchmen,” Oslei-Kuffour earned Emmy nominations for her work on Hulu’s comedy series “Pen15.” She also served as part of the writing team for Amazon’s hit Nazi-hunting series “Hunters” that stars Al Pacino.

Horror Duo Directing Marvel’s New ‘Moon Knight’ Series

Marvel Studios is continuing to expand its Disney Plus library with “Moon Knight,” a new series based on the comic book character created by writer Doug Moench and artist Don Perlin. Get this, the series will be directed by the well-known horror directing duo of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead who brought us Synchronic, The Endless, and Spring, so don’t be surprised if the show has a horror tinge to it. Mohamed Diab (“Clash”) will also direct with Jeremy Slater of “The Umbrella Academy” serving as showrunner. Marvel has not officially announced the cast, but back in October 2020, Variety reported that Oscar Isaac was in talks to play the role of Marc Spector, whose dissociative identity disorder manifests as different distinct personas. One version of the character in the comic, Spector is also the embodiment of Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the moon. “Moon Knight” is set to begin filming this March in Hungary with a Disney Plus release
