Netflix Review: Army of the Dead (2021)

Zack Snyder’s highly anticipated zombie flick Army of the Dead has finally premiered on Netflix and fulfills all the filmmaker’s promises of incredible badass action. It all begins like so many horror movies do, with a government experiment gone wrong while trying to create a super soldier. During transport the government’s experiment escapes and begins infecting all of Las Vegas. In the movie Dave Bautista’s Scott Ward gets an offer he can’t refuse, to put together a team and head into Las Vegas, now walled off and filled to the brim with zombies, to retrieve $200 million sitting in a vault. One of my favorite things is opening my door to find boxes, so when I heard a knock at my door Monday I came out to find a big heavy box I was thrilled. This June The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It will premiere in both theaters and on HBO Max. A new featurette released today delves into the true story that inspired the latest installment of the franchise. The third film of the franchise is a twisted tale of murder, the supernatural, and the unspeakable horror that rocked the nation. Movie Review: Seance

Simon Barrett takes us to haunted boarding school in his new horror film Seance. As usual with horror movies, there are only three ways it can go, bad, meh, and awesome. Luckily, I can now tell you that Seance is the latter of the three. First off, Seance doesn’t waste any time getting right into the spooky stuff, with a group of girls staring into the bathroom mirror, calling on the legendary school ghost, after learning it’s a prank all hell breaks loose and one girl is dead. When the new girl shows up, played by Suki Waterhouse (The Bad Batch, Assassination Nation), everything begins to unravel as the girls continue turning up dead. The question is, is it or ghost killing off the girls or is it something/someone more alive? Don’t worry, I’m not going to spoil it for you. I wouldn’t do that to you. Seance is a movie you’re actually going to want to watch for yourself.

Idris Elba Is Stalked By A ‘Beast’ In Upcoming Survival Thriller

Last year it was announced that Universal Pictures will be pitting Idris Elba against a hungry lion in the survival thriller Beast, directed by Baltasar Kormákur. Universal has now announced the date that Beast will be unleashed in theaters, August 19, 2022. “[Beast] finds Elba on a trip to South Africa, only for he and his two teenage daughters to be hunted by a massive rogue lion intent on proving that the savanna has but one apex predator. John Boyega Is Back To Save London Again In ‘Attack The Block 2’

John Boyega is going head to head with aliens one again for Attack the Block 2, reprising his role as Moses, Deadline reports. Boyega will also be producing the sequel to the 2011 action-packed movie. Joe Cornish, who wrote the original, is back to pen the script as well as direct. While no details have been revealed, we do know that it will be set in London once again. It’s been a decade since Attack The Block was released and so much has changed since then,” Boyega states. “I’m excited to see this heightened story return to the streets of London.
