Movie Review: Netflix’s ‘The Devil All The Time’

Netflix has a great track record with its originals these days (bar Cuties), so when I saw first saw the trailer for their thriller The Devil All the Time I was excited, however, neither the trailer nor the plot description prepared me for the true darkness of this film. First, the cast. With stars like Tom Holland, Bill Skarsgård, Robert Pattinson, Haley Bennett, and Jason Clarke, the film could have been one of those obnoxious movies that simply rely on star power, but that’s not the case. These stars come together to create a truly fantastic story whose events and characters are all connected to Tom Holland’s character Arvin Russell’s life story. But don’t get me wrong, we don’t just see glimpses of the other characters, we are put into their lives, dreams, and the hardships they endure. Every actor puts their heart and soul into their roles and it shows, each was amazing. Bill Skarsgård exudes the trauma, heartbreak,

Now he’s back for another round of blood-drenched fun in The Babysitter 2: Killer Queen which has just been unleashed on Netflix. I got the chance to talk with Judah about both the original and the sequel. We discussed the challenges of being a young actor in his everyday life, filming the movies, and much more. Check out our interview. The Babysitter: Killer Queen picks up two years after the events of the first film. Lewis stars as Cole who survived the killer blood cult the first time around. Just when you think that high school couldn’t get any worse, the cult is back from the dead and they still have their sights set on Cole. Movie Review: ‘The Babysitter: Killer Queen’ Is A Frighteningly Funny Flick

There are few genres I love as much as horror, but horror-comedies are right up there on the list. When you can find one of those rare films that can both scare you and make you laugh, you’re in for a treat! Two years ago we were left overjoyed with Netflix The Babysitter, so when Netflix announced the sequel, The Babysitter: Killer Queen, I was beyond excited. Now, that bad boy is about, and let me tell you, it does not disappoint! Judah Lewis returns as the quick-witted Cole, this time around he doesn’t just have a cult to deal with, everyone thinks he made up the events from the first movie. If that’s not enough, there’s also the regular high school drama. The poor kid can’t catch a break. Lewis has acting talent beyond his years and pulls off the character to the “T”. The combo of goofy, sweet, and slightly badass is perfect for this character. He’s relatable
