Lights, Camera, Terror! : ‘Layers Of Fear 2’ Review

Fans of Layers of Fear better get ready to raise anchor and sail off into a living nightmare! Gun Media and Bloober Team allowed me the chance to try out their latest trip into terror, Layers of Fear 2. Does it hold up to its predecessor? Join me as we take a look. Layers of Fear 2 follows the same story arc of the first where instead of a world-renowned painter being tormented by supernatural mental baggage, it’s a popular actor. The actor is not just an actor but a method actor who’s known for really getting into character. The unnamed actor is on a cruise ship where the latest film he’ll be working on is being filmed. The film’s director (Voiced by Tony Todd) is mysterious and is known to make his actors go through “tests” to get them into peak performance almost adapting an extreme version of Stanislavski’s Method. These trials consist of traversing a nightmarish reality where

‘A Plague Tale: Innocence’ Review: Skin Crawling Goodness!

For a while now, since I first saw the concept art for it, I’ve been really hyped for A Plague Tale: Innocence. I have to give a thousand thanks to Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive for giving me an opportunity for seeing if the hype I’ve had was worth the wait. I’m happy to say, this is possibly the best game I have played so far as a Game Reviewer here at Horror Fuel! A Plague Tale: Innocence Follows Amicia De Rune, whose world was flipped upside down one fateful day when Inquisition forces led by Lord Nickolas murder her parents. Before escaping, Amicia is given the task to look after her little brother Hugo, who has been kept indoors since his birth due to an infliction that made their mother, an alchemist, his full-time caregiver which has led to a tense relationship between Amicia and her mother and resentment towards Hugo. The siblings are forced to bond since

It’s A Cold World Out There: Game Review Of ‘Fade To Silence’

THQ Nordic and Black Forest Games have given me the opportunity to try out their new post-apocalyptic RPG, Fade to Silence, a game that takes you to what remains of our world after an unknown otherworldly cataclysm caused it to become a broken frozen wasteland. Does the game deliver salvation or will it leave you in the cold? Let’s find out! You take on the role of Ash, a man struggling to survive with his daughter in what’s left of our world. Ash is the leader of a refuge that serves as the home base for what’s left of his family and other survivors you may come across in the world. Ash is plagued by the voice of a wraith-like entity known simply as the inner voice that taunts him at every turn and appears from time to time. The main focus of the game is to go out in the world and gather supplies in order to survive. The

The New ‘Carnivore Dinosaur Pack’ DLC Adds More Teeth To ‘Jurassic World Evolution’

Adding more carnivores to your own Jurassic Park, what could go wrong right? Well, Frontier Games gave me the opportunity to try out their latest DLC for Jurassic World Evolution, the “Carnivore Dinosaur Pack” that features three new dinosaurs. They come in three sizes, small, medium, and large but let’s start off with the small one first since it’s my favorite of the three, the Proceratosaurus, this little guy is your standard pack following eating machine, though it’s my favorite its weak against many of the bigger dinos. The Herrerasaurus is the next size up, it acts like the Indoraptor from the “Fallen Kingdom” DLC in how it attacks other dinos and guests, a vicious bugger! Finally the big boy, the Acrocanthosaurus. This pudgy Rex looking dino is pretty tough against smaller carnivores but can be easily taken down by a T-Rex. I like how much detail went into it for the game, in real life scientists believe how its

The indie crowd-funded game is still in the works has a Kickstarter up where you can donate, and depending on how much you donate, can receive items signed by Argento himself! I got carried away on this new journey with Clod Studio” says Argento. The game is a supernatural, psychological thriller set in the first-person view of an unknown character who is exploring a mansion that was the site of recent horrors. Gather around and I’ll tell you the tale of a legendary game that rose from the graveyard of game lore to make a triumphant return! Gamers worth their weight in hours of gameplay tell tales of an old adventure point-and-click game on PC in 1987 where you venture into a castle to vanquish an old warlock after traversing through the maze of a castle.
