Negan Is Back And Lucille Is Still Thirsty In ‘Tekken 7: Season Pass 2’!

The most infamous and popular villain from AMC’s “The Walking Dead” Negan and his barbed wire-wrapped baseball bat Lucille are making a comeback in the fighting game “Tekken 7: Season Pass 2“. Tekken is a fighting game series that was popular back in the arcade days before it came into our homes as console games. The game is known for its large roster of anime-like characters with unique abilities and finishing moves. “Tekken 7” is already out on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC but “Season Pass 2” (which can be bought separately if you already own the game or bundled with the game when you buy it) will be bringing back some popular characters from the game’s past and introducing Negan. Negan’s release date is unknown at this time but it’s safe to say his introduction to the game will be just as dramatic as it was for “The Walking Dead”.

A Puzzler Of A Puzzle Game: ‘Energy Cycle Edge’ Review

Sometimes gamers just want to take a break away from most games and want to exercise…their brains. Casual puzzle games have always been a great fallback for most but this game from indie game developer Sometimes You is not only eye-catching…its head scratching. I present to you, “Energy Cycle Edge”, a 3-D puzzle game that will be coming out December 5th for all consoles including PC. The objective of the game is to match all the cells on the playing field to the same color. That’s where the simplicity ends. Every time you click a cell to change its color, the whole row will change as well. That doesn’t sound bad? Look below, that’s level 1. This is level 44, the final level. Yes, like most puzzle games the levels become more complex and to add to it, the puzzles will become more three dimensional. You’ll have to rotate the puzzle in order to solve the level which I can

The park-building simulator “Jurassic World: Evolution” will be getting a massive update on November 20th. This addition to the game will include a new story mode called “Jurassic World Evolution: Secrets of Dr. Wu”, where Dr. Wu will call on your help with some new projects for him. If you accept his offer, a new island will be unlocked along with five new dinosaurs! Out of the five, two are regular dinosaurs, the Troodon, and Olorotitan. The other three dionos are hybrids of Wu’s creation, the Ankylodocus, Stegoceratops, and Spinoraptor. If things go well for you, remember this is the “Jurassic Park” universe so there will be A LOT of “accidents”, you will unlock new building upgrades like the more advanced storm tracking system that will protect your buildings better during storms as well as a new “Comfort Genes” that you can use to manipulate dino embryos to make them more tolerant in their exhibits. Game Review: ‘Mutant Football League: Dynasty Edition’

Football is one of the most popular sports in America, there’s just one problem…it’s slow, boring, and repetitive. Worse, the video games are the same! Well, Digital Dreams Entertainment & Nighthawk Interactive have made a game that makes the sport more exciting, “Mutant Football League: Dynasty Edition”. This game is now available both for digital download and in physical retail form for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC/STEAM, and Nintendo Switch. As the name implies, there are no human football players in this game, the rosters are full of the undead, aliens, robots, mutants, orcs, werewolves, and demons. Unlike football, after the whistle blows, the hits don’t stop! That’s right, players will fight after play and sometimes with deadly results and the players are not the only ones able to do the killing, the fields you play on are full of traps as well! In “Dynasty Edition” there’s a new game mode by the same name, it’s a management mode. In

A Nightmarish Dream Come True: Review Of ‘Call Of Cthulhu: The Official Video Game’

It’s no secret, I’ve been waiting to wrap my tentacles around Cyanide Studio & Focus Home Interactive’s game “The Call of Cthulhu: The Official Video Game”, I’ve waited patiently for the game’s release but the good folks at Focus Home Interactive gave me a copy, and all I can say about this game is wow! First, let’s get the basics of the story out of the way. You play as a private detective named Edward Pierce from Boston. Pierce is tormented by constant nightmares that may be a result of the action he’s seen in the First World War, his lighter hints of his trauma with the engraving “Lost Battalion 10-7-18” implying Pierce is one of the 194 survivors from one of the most intense battles in WW1. Self-medicating with bootleg hooch and sleeping pills, Pierce is approached by a wealthy industrialist to investigate the death of his daughter and famous painter Sara Hawkins. Hawkins died along with her husband

‘Call Of Cthulhu’ Pre-Order Now On Sale

Focus Home Interactive is having a massive sale on many of their games for a limited time, October 16th – October 22nd. You can save upwards to 80% on some titles, I highly recommend “Vampyr” as its 50% off for this limited time! For us Lovecraft fans, the highly anticipated role-playing horror game “Call of Cthulhu: The official Video Game” is available for pre-order but for a limited time the price is down 10%, which in hindsight is some decent wiggle room. Don’t worry, the sale is also on for PS4 fans as well. “Call of Cthulhu: The official Video Game” takes players on a journey into madness as they play as a private detective named Edward Pierce who is investigating the mysterious deaths of the members of the Hawkins family and discovers something otherworldly and darker is at play. The game will be out October 30th on all gaming platforms.

Ninja Theory Creates “Senua’s Scholarship” After Their Video Game Heroine

It’s no big secret; I love “Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice”, the dark fantasy video game by Ninja Theory struck a chord with many players as it deals with the sensitive subject of mental health, uniquely through the eyes of a young woman back in early human history during the time of Celts and Vikings. In order to make the symptoms of Senua’s psychosis authentic, Ninja Theory consulted with Mental Health experts as well as individuals who actually are going through treatment for the illness. Because of this delicate attention to detail, “Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice” to date has won 19 awards! Proceeds of the sale of the game went towards charities involving mental health but now Ninja Theory has taken it a step further, by creating a scholarship that will fund training for mental health tutors at the CPFT Recovery College East who played a big role in helping with research for the game, the scholarship is appropriately named “Senua’s Scholarship”. Future of ‘Telltale’s The Walking Dead’ Uncertain After Shakeup

Just like the sudden and dramatic exit of your favorite character on “The Walking Dead”, the same shocking end has come to the developers of “Telltale’s The Walking Dead” as of this afternoon around 90% of staff was laid off from Telltale Games, the developer of the hit TWD games, and “The Wolf Among Us”. Friday started with 250 employees and ended with 225 seeking employment elsewhere. Due to the sudden “Red Wedding” surprise has now put the remainder of TWD final season in jeopardy as episode 2 will be coming out in a couple of days. Among other projects that are now in limbo (in the gaming industry, it means Canceled) is “The Wolf Among Us 2” and a “Stranger Things” game. The story is currently developing.

Video Game Review Double Feature! ‘Layers Of Fear’ & ‘>Observer_’ For Xbox One

Recently I wrote an article about the bundling of the two horror narrative games, “Layers of Fear” and “>Observer_”. The games’ developer Bloober Team gave me access to play both of their groundbreaking games for one epic review! Since this is a double review, I’m splitting the games up to avoid confusion and the last couple of paragraphs will be my final thoughts on both games. “Layers of Fear” is about a painter in the midst of the mental breakdown and his obsession over his latest art piece that he hopes will put him back on top. After you start looking at your latest work, that’s when the terror starts. As you explore the house, hallucinations begin to take over of paint drenched hallways, malformed specters, and artifacts that reflect your troubled past as you try to explore for answers only have your senses toyed with by the other side. There are times you have to do some problem solving
