Movie Review: Imitation Girl is Thoughtful Sci-Fi at it’s Best!

A wad of black ooze rockets down from the stars and lands on some kids spank mag and assumes the form of Julianna Fox (Lauren Ashley Carter), the world’s leading porn star (I swear to you this is an arthouse sci-fi drama…just bear with me). This creature, Imitation, wanders through the desert before she is taken in by a family from whom she learns about humanity and actually being a human being. Meanwhile, in New York City, Julianna is growing weary of the adult biz (and her drug dealing side hustle), and she jumps at the chance to audition for a prestigious musical conservatory (seems she was a great pianist before she took up the skin flute) after a chance meeting with an old teacher. Eventually our alien protagonist becomes aware of who she copied, and sets off to the city to meet her other half face to face. While the description above sounds like it could easily dovetail into

Zak Bagans Producing Charles Manson Documentary

There are a whole slew of Charles Manson films being releases soon. The Tarantino one starring Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio is getting the most spotlight and love…for obvious reasons, but we have just learned that ‘Ghost Adventures’ star Zak Bagans is producing a documentary on the modern day monster which will be titled ‘Manson’s Bloodline’. Bagans tells TMZ that filming began on the doc shortly before Manson’s death last year; “it will cover everything from Manson’s life to the news of his death and the court battle over his body… to exclusive footage of his open casket funeral.” This documentary will surely be informative, in-depth, and interesting. Regardless of the monster that Manson was and the absolute horrific nature of his life, he remains a very popular figure to examine. Bagans will surely do a fantastic job at exposing exactly who this racist cult leader was and what made him so appealing to his followers. No release date has
