It’s that time of year again to make your shopping list and check it twice. We here at HorrorFuel.com know how hard it can be to find an excellent gift for the horror fan in your life, so we’ve got a shopping guide filled with killer gifts to help make that challenge a lot easier.

Violent Night on 4K UHD

“When a team of mercenaries breaks into a wealthy family compound on Christmas Eve, taking everyone inside hostage, the team isn’t prepared for a surprise combatant: Santa Claus (David Harbour, Black Widow, “Stranger Things”) is on the grounds, and he’s about to show why this Nick is no saint.

A ton of blood is spilled in the film that also stars Emmy winner John Leguizamo (John Wick), Cam Gigandet (Without Remorse), Alex Hassell (Cowboy Bebop), Alexis Louder (The Tomorrow War), Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones), and Beverly D’Angelo (National Lampoon’s Vacation franchise).

Comfy clothes featuring iconic horror movies

Around Halloween, I did a haul review of horror-themed clothing from ShoePalace.com. Not only are the pieces high quality, they look great! Any horror fan would love it!

A 25 Foot Tall Michael Myers

I know it’s a while until next Halloween, but no horror fan wouldn’t love this! I had one this Halloween, and it brought me and the folks in my neighborhood so much joy! I got giddy whenever I stepped outside my door and saw Michael Myers towering over my house!

Spirit Halloween Monopoly Game
Spirit Halloween is a massive part of the spooky season. This year, they released their own version of Monopoly. And it is awesome! You can find our review here.
Resident Evil 4
What gamer doesn’t love the Resident Evil franchise? The fourth installment is a great gift, with HorrorFuel’s Daniel Luizzi rating it a 10/10 in his review.
Dead Space
Another of Daniel’s favorite games of the year is the Dead Space remake, which he scored 10/10 in his review.
Patterns d’Oublette
Who doesn’t love a spooky phone or computer background? If you or the genre fan in your life is one of them, you should check out Pattern d’Oublette, which Daniel recommends in his review.
The Valari Pillow

Comfort is a massive part of gamers’ lives. Make sure the gamer in your life stays comfy with the Valari pillow.

Ailien Realms: Transdimenasial Book

Joseph Perry, HorrorFuel’s film festival editor and reviewer, covered the release of Pat Tremblay’s book that examines some of the best horror posters ever released.

Halloween Girl: Book One: Promises To Keep
Joseph reviewed the graphic novel Halloween Girl, Book One: Promises to Keep, released on November 25. Halloween Girl, Book Two: Dead Reckoning from Mad Shelley Comics, written by Richard T. Wilson, is now available.

How To Sell A Haunted House
Joseph highly recommends the excellent horror novel How to Sell a Haunted House, published in January 2023 by Penguin Random House. It’s an incredible read that blends intense family drama with supernatural terror. In other news, the book is getting a film adaptation from Sam Raimi.
The Monster Squad On 4K

The horror goodie highest on Josh Scafidi’s list this year would absolutely have to be 1987’s The Monster Squad, re-released in glorious 4k by Kino Lorber! He loved this movie as a kid and still loves it to this day! You can check the link for availability!

Talk To Me Prop

Josh’s second choice is this awesome prop from one of this year’s best horror films, Talk to Me! It isn’t cheap, but for avid fans of the film and collectors, it just might be worth it. This thing is sick!

Movies In 4K

Dan XIII, who has written many reviews this year, has three films he highly recommends for those who love horror.

VAMPIRES AND OTHER STEREOTYPES: Visual Vengeance

“In The Big Apple, fortune teller fucker par excellence Ivan (Bill White) and his stoic partner Harry (Ed Hubbard) spend their nights patrolling the mean streets in order to rid the world of various supernatural menaces.

While in the middle of one such operation, three ladies and a leather-clad lothario inadvertently make the scene and accidentally open a portal to hell, which unleashes a creepy cadre of creatures and plunges the surroundings into an alternate dimension.

Before long, the body count begins to rise as the creatures become absolutely hellbent (literally) on keeping Ivan and Harry trapped within those wicked walls until sunrise so that their residence becomes permanent!”

THE TOXIC AVENGER COLLECTION TOX BOX: Troma/MVD

“Bozo (Gary Schneider) and his cretin cronies spend their time working out, fuckin’, and running over people with their car for shits n’ grins… but the one thing that really gets their rocks off is making life miserable for the local gymnasium’s nerdy janitor, Melvin (Mark Torgl).

After one such humiliation (involving a sheep in a bra and Melvin in a tutu), Melvin ends up both on fire and covered in toxic waste (the latter causing the former to be more precise) before finally transforming into a mutant mound of muscle, and thus the monster hero, the Toxic Avenger (Mitchell Cohen, with voice provided by Kenneth Kessler… sometimes… other times it seems like they just used on set audio) is born!

Now everyone from the corrupt town government to criminals to bullies are poised to shit their respective trousers as Toxie rips them a new asshole (surprisingly not literally… though the justice he hands out is spectacularly violent).”

BLACK CIRCLE: Synapse

Celeste (Felice Jankell) is having a shitty go at things when her successful businesswoman sis, Isa (Erica Midfjäll), clues her into a hypnosis record from the ’70s that has changed her life for the better.

Incredulous, Celeste spins the platter nevertheless… and the results are third eye-opening, to say the least!
