Next “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” Movie Will Be Getting The Reboot Yet Again

At this point the “Texas Chainsaw” franchise’s continuity feels like taking a hammer to the head. Multiple reboots, direct sequels to earlier films that had previously been rebooted, timelines that Doc Brown and Marty couldn’t figure out; the entire series is an absolute mess, and one of rapidly decaying quality to boot. “Leatherface”, the franchise’s most recent installment, holds a paltry 33% on Rotten Tomatoes. Perhaps it’s not all that surprising then (if not a little distressing) that the next film in the series will be rebooted yet again, if a tweet from actress Christa Campbell is correct. “I loved this film and I’m very proud,” said Campbell. “Unfortunately because of the time it took to release it we lost the rights sadly. So no, at least not from us.” Maybe the next team will finally get the chainsaw revved up and roaring. I’d hate to see this franchise die with a sputter.

Stephen King Thinks He Knows Why “The Dark Tower” Failed

For all the success stories Stephen King properties had this year, “The Dark Tower” collapsed like a game of Jenga. While eventually grossing a little over $100 million on a $60 million budget, “Tower” was a critical disaster, hated by fans of the series, and a far cry from the building block to a new franchise that Columbia hoped it would be. King himself weighed in on what he thought brought the movie down; having penned the seven novels that make up the “Dark Tower” books series, there’s no man on Earth so qualified to say what went so wrong. In an interview with EW, he tentatively opened up. I liked everybody involved with that movie and I liked some of the casting choices for it. I liked Modi Wiczyk, the producer, the director, everybody. So you know I’m always careful what I say about it.But I will say this, okay? The real problem, as far as I’m concerned is,

“Channel Zero: Butcher’s Block” Unveils Terrifying New Poster

“Channel Zero” doesn’t get the hype of “American Horror Story” or “The Walking Dead” but over the course of 2 seasons, it has quietly proven to be one of the best horror shows on tv. Based on Internet Urban legends called Creepypasta’s, some of the most disturbing imagery of the last few years has come out of the show. A toothy horror from “Channel Zero”‘s first season, “Candle Cove”. The series third season, subtitled “Butcher’s Block”, is based on the Creepypasta “Search and Rescue Woods” (not nearly as catchy a title huh?) and will focus on mysterious staircases that prey on hapless citizens of a small town. Kind of an out there premise, but Channel Zero isn’t know for being normal. SyFy recently unveiled a new poster for “Butcher’s Block”, which will air Fall 2018, and it’s as disturbing as any image the series has yet produced. Yikes. I haven’t seen a mouth like that since I last visited the
