THQ Nordic today released the latest gameplay trailer for the upcoming revamped comedic alien invasion game, Destroy All Humans! that’s set to be released next month on PC and Consoles, but don’t take my word for it, the game’s star is here with a special message to you our readers! Greetings, fleshy Earth beings. Cryptosporidium 137 here, delivering a message on behalf of the Furon Empire: You are all going to be destroyed. To show you how much fun I will have, bringing the final elimination to you, I have created a new audio-video transmission to teach you the Furon ways of destruction. Our research has proven, species who are familiar with the several ways of being exterminated, are 27% less likely to resist. All In! Games have released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming first-person surreal game based on Franz Kafka’s short story by the same name, Metamorphosis. Along with the new trailer comes news of a Demo for PC players. Players will enter the world of Metamorphosis as Gregor, a young man that woke up one morning and is now an insect. Unlike the short story, the game will take a different turn where players explore the world and see it through Gregor’s eyes as he spies on the human world and sees the Kafkaesque world of insects. PC players can download the Metamorphosis demo on Steam! Metamorphosis will scurry its way into player’s homes later this summer for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Mortal Shell had a busy weekend as more information and content was released at IGN, PCGaming Show, and Fextralife. To cap off the busy weekend, Cold Symmetry released a new trailer that focuses on one of the four playable shells players will find in the game, Tiel, an angry complex character with agility and poison skills. It’s been announced that Mortal Shell will be an Epic Games Store exclusive for a limited time and can be preordered now for PC as a closed BETA will be available July 3rd, players can register for the BETA at the Mortal Shell Discord. The game will be shipped to STEAM in Q3 of 2021. Mortal Shell will launch fully on Epic Games along with PlayStation 4, and Xbox One Q3 of 2020 as planned.

Modus, Stormind Games, and Darril Arts have built up the suspense for a while now and have now announced the release of the sequel to their previous ode to traditional horror gaming, Remotherd: Tormented Fathers, coming this August is Remotherd: Broken Porcelain. Taking place after the events of the first game, Remotherd: Broken Porcelain follows Rosemary Reed’s investigation while introducing us to a new playable character, Jen, a teenage girl sent to work as a maid at the Ashford Inn in the Alps. After a failed attempted to escape with Linn, another troubled girl, and fellow maid, Jen soon learns about the troubled past of the Inn and its resident haunt, a hooded man carrying a human spinal column cane and wearing a porcelain mask. Jen and Linn must escape the Inn and Rosemary must confront an enemy from her mysterious past. The trailer shows that Jen will encounter three enemies and much like the previous game, must rely on

Merge Games and Antab Studio have announced that they’re working on an upcoming shooter game that combines the neon-lit aesthetics of a cyberpunk world and the folding pages of a comic book. Inspired by the Deux Ex and Max Payne games along with Frank Miller’s graphic novel Hard Boiled comes the third-person shooter Foreclosed. In Foreclosed, players will take on the role of Evan Kapnos who has had their identity “Foreclosed”, which is like identity theft BUT the person now no longer exists. Face with this, Evan now must fight against the dehumanizing bureaucracy that took his identity before his identity and his cybernetic implants are auctioned off! Foreclosed will visually appear as a graphic novel with interactive cutscenes and smooth transitions making loading feel like it’s not there. Foreclosed is currently in development and is expected to be coming in 2021 to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Today NACON Gaming and Cyanide Studio released the first cinematic trailer for their upcoming horror RPG game, Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood along with more details about the game. The trailer focuses on the game’s protagonist Cahal. Cahal can transform into a wolf which allows him to see the true nature in people and he can transform into a Werewolf and fight against his supernaturally corrupted human enemies. Cahal is on a mission to save his daughter but must do so by way of going on a path of redemption by waging war against a corrupt oil company that threatens the natural world and the homeland of Cahal’s people, The Garous. Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood will be coming 2020 to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Cold Symmetry and Playstack have debuted the latest trailer for their upcoming souls-like game Mortal Shell that shows what players more of the kinds of enemies they will encounter as well as some of the kind of ass-kicking they will also be able to do as well! Along with the release of the new trailer, Cold Symmetry’s segment from the IGN Summer of Gaming Event from Wednesday is up with gameplay footage from Mortal Shell and more explanation of the game’s mechanics from the Devs themselves. Mortal Shell will take players to a twisted world where they will play as a spirit summoned by the “Dark Father” who needs them to go forth and smite his enemies and followers and harvest their sacred glands but is the Dark Father hiding something from our hero? CAPCOM announced today that the eighth installment in the “Resident Evil” series is on its way in 2021 for next-gen consoles. Resident Evil: Village will be a first-person experience that will take players to a snow-capped village plagued with horrors. Returning to the story is Ethan, the main protagonist from Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The story takes place a few years after the incident of RE7 and shows Ethan and his wife Mia restarting their life together before tragedy befalls them and thrusts Ethan back into the nightmarish world we know and love. Ethan must explore a mysterious village where local legends and superstition are real and danger stalks those who explore the deceitfully calm looking village to find the answers to what why the nightmares of the past seem to not let go. Resident Evil: Village will be coming in 2021 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.

Funcom and game dev The Outsiders today revealed their upcoming first-person shooter that pits players against demons while listening to heavy metal, Metal: Hellsinger. Metal: Hellsinger is a Rhythm-FPS meaning that players shoot in time to the music the more effective their shots are plus the more intense the music becomes and let’s face it, when it comes to metal, you want to throw up some horns. The soundtrack for the game is original and will feature vocals from metal’s popular singers, at the time of writing this Matt Heafy of Trivium and Alissa White-Gluz of Arch Enemy are in the game. Each level has its own song that will start off as background music but as players successfully keep the beat by the end of the level the song should become a powerful anthem! The game’s creative director, David Goldfarb, is known to FPS players as he was lead designer to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3, and

The folks over at E-Line Media allowed me to take a deep dive into the ocean and discover some of its inhabitants in Beyond Blue, an exploration game that takes players to an atoll with a research team looking to unravel its secrets. The game’s plot centers around a scientist named Mirai who is also a freediver, partaking in a joint research project where new technology is being used along with a diving suit that allows her to stay underwater for long periods. Mirai’s main focus is set on a pod of sperm whales that she’s been following for years but strange occurrences in the ocean seem to be distressing them. Now onto the game itself. Control-wise, they’re easy to learn but the tutorial at the game’s start could use some work but at the same time, you almost don’t even need a tutorial. When it comes to visuals, they’re stellar! The lighting effects are realistic to how it looks
