This June, “Fright Club” is back with an all-new season filled with things that go bump in the night. Paranormal investigators Jack Osbourne and the Ghost Brothers – Dalen Spratt, Juwan Mass and Marcus Harvey – are back in club headquarters resuming their hilarious competition to creep each other out with the craziest paranormal videos they can find. Furiosa, George Miller‘s prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road, has officially kicked off filming, according to a Tweet from star Chris Hemsworth. The film centers on Charlize Theron’s character from Fury Road, with The Witch star Anya Taylor-Joy stepping into the role as a young Furiosa, serving as an origin story. Furiosa will span many years of the character’s life according to the director who also wrote the script has stated, “Whereas Fury Road essentially happened over three days and two nights, this happens over many years,” The action-packed film already has a release date, but it won’t be premiering soon; it’s set for May 24, 2024.

Comedy-Laced Nursing Home Horror ‘American Carnage’ Scores New Trailer

Scream actress Jenna Ortega stars in director Diego Hallivis’ twisted film American Carnage, a comedy-laced immigration horror whose trailer has just debuted ahead of its summer release. In the film, “After a governor issues an executive order to arrest the children of undocumented immigrants, the newly detained youth are offered an opportunity to have their charges dropped by volunteering to provide care to the elderly. The first images have surfaced from Netflix’s new upcoming horror series “Red Rose.” The series is from executive producers Michael and Paul Clarkson, the duo behind the streaming service’s “The Haunting of Bly Manor,” Apple TV’s “See,” and HBO’s “His Dark Materials.” The teen-driven series, from the producers of Netflix’s hit series “Sex Education,” is set over a long hot summer following high school. A group of teens’ friendships is infiltrated by the Red Rose app, which blooms on their smartphones. It threatens dangerous consequences if they don’t meet its demands.
