Blu-ray Review: YellowBrickRoad (2010): Updated Special Edition

One fine morning back in 1940, the citizens of Friar, New Hampshire walked into the wilderness, en masse, and got their asses slaughtered (minus one “lucky” fellow) by who the piss knows what on a trail named Yellow-brick Road. Flash forward to the amazing future year of 2008 and enter Teddy Barnes (Michael Laurino) who just so happens to be the leader of a group of adventurous sorts who trek off to that rural town in search of answers to the distant tragedy. Sisters Find Themselves Trapped In A Revenge Plot In The Trailer For ‘Safe House 1618’

Indie Horror Game Challenges Steam’s Refund Policy

Over the last 72 hours (or more) parts of the internet are abuzz with a new indie horror game that challenges players to beat it under two hours, and the prize for beating it? A refund. The game is called Refund Me If You Can, a first-person maze-solving game in the dark with a monster chasing you, very generic but perfect for YouTubers and streamers to overreact to on camera for their younger viewers. But the game is actually a big “F-YOU!” to Steam and their refund policy. Steam rolled out a new refund policy a few years back that makes it very easy for users to refund a game they purchased within two hours. Most indie developers suffered a massive loss due to this policy causing some to flat out quit the gaming industry. Argentina Has Been Consumed By Evil In ‘Legions,’ Acquired by XYZ Films

XYZ Films has acquired North American rights to the supernatural Argentinian horror film Legions, Deadline reports. In Legions, directed by Fabian Forte, “a powerful sorcerer, Antonio, is locked away in an asylum and wastes away in his imprisonment as evil, demonic forces take control of Argentina. If Antonio can escape the psychiatric hospital, and find his daughter, Helena, their combined strength could save Argentina, but Helena has forgotten her powers. Antonio must reteach her the ways of magic and be humanity’s last hope against this ancient evil.” Germán De Silva and Lorena Vega star in the film that was produced by Javier Diaz.
