The second season of Ash VS. Evil Dead is approaching (thankfully). Bruce Campbell gives life to Ash, the charismatic, one-handed badass, in the TV adaption of 1981’s cult classic, The Evil Dead. The first teaser for season 2 has been unleashed and it does not disappoint.
“Ash vs Evil Dead” follows Ash, a stock boy, aging Lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is fin ally forced to face his demons – personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.

The second season roars back into action with Ash leaving his beloved Jacksonville and returning to his hometown of Elk Grove. There he confronts Ruby, and the former enemies have to form an uneasy alliance as Elk Grove soon becomes the nucleus of evil.

Not only will Ash’s father (Lee Majors) and his childhood friend (Ted Raimi) come back into the picture, his high school sweetheart will also be entering back into his life (Michelle Hurd), playing a big role in the upcoming season. On top of the past coming back to haunt him Ash, Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) and Pablo (Ray Santiago) are still coping with the events of last season, which left Ruby (Lucy Lawless) in control of the necronomicon and the power to unleash hell on the world.
