Move Over Cocaine Bear, 'Meth Gator' is Here!

Move Over Cocaine Bear, ‘Meth Gator’ is Here!

Forget Cocaine Bear. There’s a new, terrifying drug-fueled creature on the loose in Meth Gator, set in a world where nature meets nightmare. The movie is inspired by real news stories about the potential for “meth gators” created by drug disposal and trafficking. This movie takes the concept of drug-addicted creatures to its most extreme and brutal conclusion as the body count soars. In Meth Gator, the residents of Sweet Water Point, Florida, are in serious danger. They have ignored police warnings about flushing methamphetamine down the toilet and have created a drug-fueled deadly monster. A colossal alligator, supercharged by crystal meth, is on a rampage and leaving death and destruction in its wake. Starring Patrick Labyorteaux and Robbie Rist, the movie promises a wild ride filled with terror, humor, and plenty of over-the-top action. Written by Joe Roche and Lauren Pritchard and directed by Christopher Ray, it is a must-see for fans of creature features and campy movies. Are

Movie Review: Sting (2024) - Well Go USA Blu-ray

Movie Review: Sting (2024) – Well Go USA Blu-ray

A diminutive comet hurtles through the steel-gray New York City winter sky before crash landing in an apartment building (where it comes to rest in a dollhouse) where it promptly cracks open revealing it was an egg containing a small spider… a spider that is found by a young girl named Charlotte (Alyla Browne). Charlotte takes her new pet home… to the apartment she shares with her mother, Heather (Penelope Mitchell), infant sibling, Liam, and building superintendent/comic book artist step-father Ethan (Ryan Corr)… and names her new friend Sting. So, space-spider Sting is actually super smart as well, which would be fine and dandy if she didn’t apply that insidious intelligence to facilitate feeding on the dwelling’s residents (as well as any exterminator stupid enough to get in her way)… oh and she’s growing… and growing… So much so, that things look rather dire for those that call the building home! Coming from Writer/Director Kiah Roache-Turner (who brought us the

Director Gregory Lamberson Returns with Werewolf Horror ‘Frenzy Moon’

Get ready to howl at the moon! Cult filmmaker Gregory Lamberson is celebrating four decades in independent cinema with a brand new werewolf movie, Frenzy Moon. A Return to Creature Features Lamberson, known for films like Slime City and Killer Rack, “is going back to his roots. He describes the screenplay as a thrilling blend of John Carpenter’s The Thing and the classic werewolf flick The Howling. The story follows six college students and a mysterious stranger who find themselves trapped in a terrifying fight for survival against a pack of ferocious werewolves in a remote cabin. Passion Project Takes Shape Frenzy Moon has been a long time coming for Lamberson. He originally envisioned directing the film after Johnny Gruesome, but other projects took precedence. The global pandemic also threw a wrench into his plans, making a cabin-set horror film impractical. However, Lamberson’s dedication to monster movies never wavered, and Frenzy Moon is finally poised to become a reality. A

Movie Review: The Great Alligator (1979) – Severin 4K/Blu-ray combo

Hot-shit photog Daniel (Claudio Cassinelli, who you may recall was Zeus in Luigi (Starcrash) Cozzi’s mid-’80s Hercules pictures, but was also in The Island of the Fishmen from this film’s director, Sergio (2019: After the Fall of New York) Martino) is hired by a resort mogul (Mel Ferrer, Umberto Lenzi’s Nightmare City) to snap publicity pics to advertise his new jungle-set, disco-tastic vacay hot spot, Paradise House, along with his model/muse Sheena (Geneve Hutton). Once there, he meets anthropologist Alice (Barbara Bach, also from The Island of the Fishmen, but perhaps best known for her turns in 1977’s James Bond flick The Spy Who Loved Me, and 1981’s prehistoric romp, Caveman, co-staring her hubs Ringo Starr) who fills our main man Dan in on the deets concerning the Kuma tribe, the indigenous people of the region who are paid in American blue jeans to huck dynamite at trees to clear land for further expansion… oh and their god is able

Movie Review: Spider Labyrinth (1989) - Severin 4K/Blu-ray combo

Movie Review: Spider Labyrinth (1989) – Severin 4K/Blu-ray combo

Professor Alan Whitmore (Roland Wybenga) is sent to Budapest by the cadre of totally not up to no-good folks that funded the top secret Intextus project (which involves the interconnection of all religions or some such jazz), to check on a colleague who has not turned in his data on time. Said colleague appears to have gone completely insane, but it doesn’t matter much as he’s soon found hanging by his neck by spider webs… which turns a fact hunting trip into a murder investigation… a fucking real hum-dinger of one in fact… The longer Whitmore stays in town, the more sinister things become with dire warnings being delivered left and right, near constant mood setting thunderstorms… oh yeah, and the continuing murders… that’s some truly sinister shit. But all of that pales in comparison with the downright preternatural insanity that awaits as our hero continues the amateur sleuth biz! Will Whitmore solve the murderous, monstrous mystery, or will he
