This summer, one of the most prolific serial killers in history is back, the Zodiac killer. Sony Pictures Worldwide and Vertical Entertainment are poised to release Jonathan Wright’s thriller Awakening the Zodiac.
The film centers on a down-on-their-luck couple who discover a collection of film reels made by a serial killer and decide to take the law into their own hands for a shot at the $100,00 reward. Soon, the couple finds themselves in the killer’s sights.
Salem actor Shane West stars alongside Leslie Bibb, and Matt Craven. Stephen McHattie, Nicholas Campbell, Kenneth Welcsh, Jason Hook, John Bregar, Eva Link, Jennie Esnard, and Douglas Kidd co-star. Johnathan Wright was in the director’s chair for the film, written by Jennifer Archer and Mike Horrigan.
