A24 is back with another unnerving horror film, X, written and directed by Ti West, the filmmaker behind movies such as The Innkeepers, The House of the Devil, and the true-story-inspired film The Sacrament.
Out now in theaters, from A24, the film, set in 1979, “a group of young filmmakers set out to make an adult film in rural Texas, but when their reclusive, elderly hosts catch them in the act, the cast soon finds themselves in a desperate fight for their lives.”
Jenna Ortega (Scream) and Mia Goth (Suspiria) star along with Scott Mescudi (Kid Cudi) (Don’t Look Up, Creepshow) and Brittany Snow (Prom Night, Pitch Perfect) star in this nightmare-inducing film.
Besides a killer cast and spooky story, X has a fantastic soundtrack that is available now on Spotify under the title X After Hours: Jackson Hole’s Porn Groove Essentials (yes, you read that right). The album was composed by Tyler Bates and Chelsea Wolf.
