Neon has now unveiled the new haunting trailer for filmmaker Steven Soderbergh’s (Sex, Lies, and Videotape) chilling new horror movie, Presence. The trailer gives us a glimpse into the terrors plaguing a family as something turns their lives upside down.
Presence follows a family who moves into a new, beautiful suburban home. Soon, they become convinced they are not alone. A mysterious entity begins to stalk them, toy with them, and turn their new home into a terrifying nightmare.
David Koepp, the man behind Jurassic Park, wrote and executive produced Presence. The cast includes talented stars Lucy Liu (Kill Bill), Julia Fox (Uncut Gems), Chris Sullivan (“This is Us”), Callina Liang (“Foundation”), and Lucus Papaelias.
Presence has already garnered critical acclaim, earning a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes during its festival run. But we will warn you that several of its stars have stated the film deeply impacted them. Some viewers at film festivals could not handle the stress and had to leave, calling the film “intense” and “terrifying.”
Prepare for a haunting experience this winter when the film premieres in theaters on January 17th from Neon. Watch the new Presence trailer below.
