Dark Sky Films, who recently released Birdeater, will now unleash Are You There?, a chilling psychological horror film, in select theaters and digital platforms this February.
Directed by Kim Noonan and written by Brian Tedeschi and Vicki Vass, Are You There? plunges viewers into a terrifying game of cat and mouse. In the film, Rosa Gonzalez ignites a summoning ritual candle. She asks, “Are you there?” Little does she know these three words will trigger a life-and-death struggle.
Rosa’s chance for survival dwindles as she is forced to play a twisted game of 20 questions. Each attempt to escape throws her into a new nightmare of her own making, pushing her closer to the brink of madness. She discovers that some questions are best left unanswered.
Director Kim Noonan is best known for films such as 2024’s Nyctophobia, produced by RZA. And is behind short films like Radio 88 and The German Girl.
This film explores the human psyche’s darkest corners and stars Laura Sollet, Eva Meyerson, Madison Geiger, Meng Klovis, Chase Bridges, and Kay Galvin.
